@@David-nq8cv Some people cope differently, at that very moment she might be laughing but you never know what happens offstream, you do need to understand that they're there to provide entertainment and not ruin the vibe. We can never know.
@@David-nq8cv half the world does it? i don't know what special needs people you hang around but literally everyone makes light of the fact that people pass... or sorry is everyone meant to get a box of tissues and cry about it... fucking looney toon mate
People are not reading in-between the lines. Malena "indefinitely" leaving is not retired. Mom is sick, mentally that alone is so draining. Add all the other shit and I cant blame her. Streaming is a bit toxic and you have to be bullet proof to do it in front of a camera so much. She just needs time. i am sure one days she will be back. Hope her mom gets better and sending positive vibes.
xQc started talking about death and dying last year around the Kick deal. He also openly said he wished he could kill himself last November. Watching him go from happy pepega to suicidally depressed has been harrowing. No one seems to care. On the contrary, LSF was cheering for him to become “Reckful 2.0.”
It's his life choices, it's the same reason I'm not sad about people who are addicted to some drug or alcohol. I quit drinking 9 years ago after being addicted from the collage life. And I see people ruining their lives but they KEEP doing the shit that is ruining it. It's a paradox, the only thing sad is that they aren't strong enough to admit to it.
soda does have a quish job, he does what he wants, says what he wants, and still gets views. this man can literally do w.e whenever he wants and people will watch. that's also the privilege of being one of the OG wow streamers who ventured out to indie games and still remained successful. not hateing, love the dude and will always look to him on the state of wow. (b,c if soda isnt playing why would i) but he knows his fan base and " if soda has one fan its me"
I think the Covid era streamer is facing a harsh reality right now and they are having to make the choice of if this is something they are willing to do for the long term or if its time to wind it down....I applaud Malena for being smart enough to know when its time to step away for her.
hasn't she only been back for like a couple months? Cause I thought she went home to her family during nick's whole GTA stuff then he stopped when she came back which feels like it was only like 2-3 months ago. I can see finally taking a serious break and coming back and wondering why you put up with stuff, realizing you were happier when you weren't streaming, pulling the plug before you get too wrapped back into it.
she went to go visit family. and I guess her mom got sick/sicker. so shes just stepping away to aid her mum. she will still be working on bts stuff and helping Nick. she just doesn't want to be a streamer and spending all the time on stream as she has (posted on their discord) and Nick states on his stream she will still host her yearly events like wild west etc.
She took a long hiatus after the Wild West week of streams with Nick saying she was just mentally drained from doing it. Then she came back and was a complete low energy downer pretty much every stream with Nick saying she was completely devolving (her grandparent also passed away in this time) and then her mom's cancer came back and now she's just gone gone. Couldn't balance life and work it seems.
@@stephenmason9527I mean, if you had THAT money, would you not take a hiatus to be with your loved ones in those difficult times? I don't expect the average joe working 9-5 to do it, I wouldn't either, but if I had millions on my name fuck work I'm being with my family, I don't think this is anything about not being able to "balance life and work"
@@LOONAbd I think it is exactly about that. I'm not mad she's prioritizing her family at all. I even empathize with her on that from having to do it myself at one time. But this is admitting she doesn't feel she can do both.
I wouldnt call it dark side. I have worked in retail for ~5years before changing the industry. Dealing with people is very tiring. However, thats where my sympathy ends. You have your own house, something that the vast majority of the population of any country dont have. You have a girlfriend that you live with. That by any standards is called being successful. All that is left is to put a ring on it and have kids.
@@David-nq8cv Well, there you go. He's successful, in any case. If Vei does not want to and they are dating then he is ok with it. Even if he is not, none of your business, tbh. *insert suffering from success meme*
@@David-nq8cv I swear idk what is wrong with people nowadays but you have reading problems, and I am beyond sick that I would barf if I could to have the lawyer talk a comment. It is nobody's business whether he wants kids or not or whatever kind of relationships he wants. If you actually read you would have been able to conclude that the subject is THE RELATIONSHIP between him and Vei not the house and him complaining about it. You have issues and you are projecting them on to me. Get help.
Soda is very clearly fed up with the whole idea of random kids/teens typing to him expecting him read shit and answer to it, basically he hates the interaction part, enjoys the gaming and making millions part lol
@@David-nq8cvI mean streaming is more effort than just playing a game and not streaming but compare that overall to other jobs and it’s 1000x better, which pretty much all streamers can agree on
I think it just goes to show the mental aspect is really important to maintain. I think every member has either IRL stuff happen or drama/stress wear them down this year like Nick or Esfand being on GTA and he’d always say how bad the community is and was constantly under stress. Maybe it’s best for all the members to chill back this year a little to keep their sanity.
In the case of T1, couldn't the same thing be said about Chance and WoW? He still plays WoW after all these years? They put out updates/expansions for WoW. League gets patches.
Bro she would help to some degree put their streams together..cooking was the bread and butter but there definitely was other stuff that took effort to put together..hardly just kicking back and ordering cleaning and food
@@klimentbassev8866 Fewer, sure. A lot still do. It also depends on the country. In the US, a majority of workers still get PTO, and that’s without counting sick leave. There is usually some service requirement though.
Streaming sucks after you have made enough money you will never need to work again because at that point every moment you are spending streaming is a moment you could be otherwise spending doing one of a million other things that you now have the money to do basically infinitely that you enjoy more, it's fun before that point because your building up to that kind of money while doing the kind of thing most people do to relax and all the added stresses that make it not relaxing are soothed by the fact that you are working towards never having to work again, after you reach that though its all the annoyance from before with non of the reward with the added frustration of now being able to afford to do much more fun things, at that point your only doing it to build generational wealth and because if you quit and fall on bad times you could regret it later, that's why so many streamers and RU-vidrs start making companies, the goal is to make roughly what they are making now from that, that's most big content creators exit plan, create a business that makes roughly what they make in an average month in profit so they can walk away without feeling like they are making a mistake
The average person working a 9-5 doesn't just get to dip for months whenever their mom gets sick or life happens. Streamers are so coddled it's unreal. "Oh but people say mean things" yeah, they do and they shouldn't... but then they all just get banned forever anyway.
This doesn’t make sense 😂. If any of those people working a 9-5 had the same privilege Malena does to take work off for a sick parent 99% of them would
@@tpmonster24 the entire point of my post was to highlight how different and coddled their situation is compared to most people. So thanks for agreeing with me.
Respect to Malena and hope her focus is on herself and her mother at this time. But let’s be honest, no one would watch her stream alone. Her streaming career is carried by Nick.
Now we are gonna act that their job is the most difficult in the world. They became millionaires before their 30s (good for them) and they say they hate streaming. Zero f*cking touch with reality.
i kinda get what soda means but some people are not as negative in life as soda lol ive never met someone who has there life in such a good way with money having friends, preety much soda your livin a life where most would dream of and yet you still seam too get soo negative soo fast over things. there are people who live way worse lifes and have TRUE happines makes me wonder
She doesn't care at this point, unless nicks stream starts taking a hit and stops generating the views he does and then she'll go back to streaming, since just about everyone has a price.
The guy's own thumbnail said "She's gone." Which seems to bely his story she's coming back. Maybe she's tired of him flirting with Cinna and other chicks all the time on camera.
Malena was always ungrateful for the things streaming had given her. You know that 20 second dance they do for 100 dollars? She sees that as "Selling out". It must be so hard to make thousands of dollars a day doing nothing.
@@Sephiroso. retirement is the act of leaving your job and stopping working, usually because you are old OR the period in someone's life after they have stopped working because of having reached a particular age OR the point at which someone stops working, esp. because of having reached a particular age or because of ill health OR the period in someone’s life after the person has stopped working. pick one.
@@marek8725 So why are you so confused at Malena retiring? You do understand young people who are rich can retire too right? Most of these streamers have made enough money to retire if they wanted to. You saying she didn't retire, but quit is indicative of you being insanely envious of her position and you're just mad.
@@aizensosuke18 i think yesterday, he quick deletes chats so he does not get any flack in the furure but usually rage types there, just like many streamers do in their discords
@@Werxy-757stop spreading rumors. Malena quit because she wants to spend all her time with her mother who’s sick, Nick and Malena are in Europe to help her mom.
Yeah, they are at the point in life where most couples start having kids and the mother stays home in order to raise them when they're babies. But she vehemently hates children.
Nick knows he's cooked When he revealed it to stream his mood was down, obviously I think he's just going to try and collab like crazy with ExtraEmily, Cinna, Russell, etc. And ironically probably have it all planned behind scenes by Malena
@@stephenmason9527 i think it would be dope for nick to get out of his little shell and go extra emily mode and just tackle all the stuff he doesn't like/is afraid of/or never even thought of..like nick tries everything...with the support of the homies and other streamers he mightve never met it would be epic content
So what really happened? Nick get good looking and cheated on Malena? or the stream that he did made her upset? Nick is a gladiator and has a GTR and a video editor that likely built him turned girlfriend. He does take a ton of risk, is it bad for business? no. The worst thing that be could be in 20 years some SA claim against him but still technically he is married to Malena by law right because of Texas?
Bro relax, Malena's mom is sick and she wants to stay with her, even Nick went on a rant on Discord about him not doing any more streams with Nora because of how weird chat got. Stop overthinking shit lol.
