On hardcore realms, if you die, you will not be able to resurrect by any means, which locks you out of just about everything except for communicating with people in chat and passing over guild ranks if they were a high ranking member.

Tbh this is lenient for a wow raiding guild. I remember back when I played our guild required a set schedule, and times where you normally wouldn't be playing but would be available if messaged. If any of those times were filled it needed to be messaged to an officer ahead of time to avoid any planning conflicts. Wow raiding guilds were like a genuine job with but with less tolerance. So either the standards changed or soda IS being considerate of the people here 😅

That's just how most MMOs are. You're either all in, playing almost everyday, spending your free time focusing the game, or you're out, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. The guild is good content for everyone involved, and treating it like an actual guild is a solid trial run in case any of these streamers are interested enough to continue playing. Everyone that gets kicked likely wasn't going to stick around that long and is just there for the content collaboration.
