Very nicely taught. Could you tell me what exact parts are needed - you know, the barbed connections, thread size, length of tubing, regulator type...etc. I have been scouring Amazon for 2 days looking for a tube setup with quick connect to use for kegging.
Hoping to create a similar set up. It’s great that it’s less bulky than a 5lb and can just be mailed to you. About how many 5l kegs can you force carb and serve per 60l soda stream?
That's the old version adapter. The new version has a threaded knob on the side that moves an internal pin that releases and shuts off CO2 flow from the sodastream cylinder.
Just got a mini regulator and on the second use I'm not getting and gas though the regulator and the knob does absolutely nothing. I've burnt up 4 cartridges trying to get it to work. Any idea on what my issue is?
lmao why in the hell would you not just get a 5-10lb beverage co2 tank. every mod for the soda stream seems so incredibly counter intuitive AND cost prohibitive. Now you're gonna pay for the 15$ refills from soda stream, or have to further modify your canister to refill yourself/at the gas shop. best mod imo is the 10$ pin valve that actually allows you to refill the thing yourself.
I think it is a good compliment. It is one thing to make a very portable keg, and another to refill your sodastream bottles. The refilling is easy to do with another adapter.
Say I'm going to my cottage. I want to bring a small keg. I could take a 5# tank or sodastream tank. I'll take the sodastream.... besides you can refill em at home
