Learn to use SODE correctly, also learn how to utilise sode with osoto. By combining these two throws learn a devastating, but effective combination. #judo #柔道 #ippon #дзюдо#japanese
In Japanese judo, is there a study on kumi kata and how to obtain certain grips. If so, do you have a kumi kata sequence on how to get the double sleeve grip?
Sensei, I'm watching the new japanese star Fukuda Yamato ( - 60 kg) ....at the GP Portugal '23 event. He's fearless and attacks from all angles. He's so fast and really good fighter ... other judokas didn't know how to handle his style. He deserves the gold medal ! Good for him !
@Hodgson Catalin I'm doing my best to edit the video now🙇♂️ about Ippon seoinage about JUDOGI give away about RANDORI part 1〜3 about KUMITE... Please expect to have fun and wait👍 Thank you for always supporting me!
Sensei, outstanding new video, a lot details here to be followed ! Great combination between sode and osoto ! in my next training I will practice based on your descriptions. Thank you!
In our club if someone starts to lift your sleeve, you know they are coming in for the sode grip osotogari. I get caught on this all the time because I move to defend the sode, even though no one in the club does sode, only osoto from this grip! Some day I will learn. Maybe.
I've never learnt this technique in twelve years, though i've seen it a lot in competition highlights, i will consider learning it due to its efficiency. Would you also be able to make a video about hiza guruma, a widely underrated technique which i can never get in randoris
Yes. the key is to attack quickly after ducking under. if tori scores, he/she will get the score and a penalty. If tori ducks under and does not attack it will be stoppage and a shido. So don't do it with two penalties. Jimmy Pedro used this method with great success.
