I would've preferred if Toby was in place of Edward; in the books, Toby practically acts just like Victor's Edward here. But still, great short as always.
I appreciate what you said, but good luck trying to get the whole internet to censor their language for ethics purposes @@kenjimaurerfromdisneyland2001
@Ethan Schmid sodor retold is just like the shorts and answers. they are side projects and victor has said that he has had severe case of writers block for season 5 and is working very hard to overcome it
First off, loved the Percy jump scare gag, shocked me with joy. Duck is insane for making that crypto, he deserves his comeumppance even if it's from Tony.
At first I thought Tony was gonna be a mentioned character in the shorts that wouldn't show up like Bruce's sister, but seeing him here; I love this guy!
For those who don't know what the p36s are they are a class of 4-8-4 northerns built between 1952 - 1954 from the soviet union (which we all know now a days as Russia) some of these Russian Northerns are around today with some on display while others are still in operation.
Indeed. Stats wise they're inferior to most Northerns from the US such as UP #844 but were very much needed as the Soviet Union couldn't keep getting by with just the veteran S class 2-6-2s anymore. The P36s are easily the Russian/Soviet empire's most famous locomotive type, and the only one most people can think of when asked to identify a train from the former communist bloc.
@@generalhorse493 yeah they also looked kinda similar to the NYC s1 class niagaras with their small smoke deflectors, box-pox driving wheels, and there raised head lamp (though some of the niagaras had dual beam headlights)
I cannot look at the name Shylock without getting flashbacks to English class when we had to read and write an essay about Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice
1:36 Hard to see a flaw in that logic. Not a bad short. A reference to Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice and it's funny to see Edward as an extortionist. And the Soviet P36 Generals class wasn't constructed until 1952.
Keep it up Victor Tanzig Boy I Can't Believe Duck Was Crazy Enough to Borrow Money From Tony and Not Pay Him Back How Can a Big Engine Like Hide in a Little Chicken Coop?
When I first heard of the Trotsky treatment, I thought the treatment starts by falling on a pitch fork. Because he was killed falling back on a pitch by the red movement/angry mob
Why must Duck do Percy's running gag? He wouldn't like that. Especially since Percy is the closest friend of Duck, and the first other Sodor engine he met in the Railway Series and TV series.
@@SodorStudiosAndCoProductions Yeah, I mean, how else could you explain all the conveniently placed chicken coops? They can’t have that many just lying around.
funny detail, soviet rolling stock has a bigger gauge than standard, so tony wouldnt be able to run on brittish track, and funnyer still, the US military thought of this and made a soviet to standard gauge locomotive, it could change between the two, thought to be used in a potential invasion
I missed that ‘GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!’ bit. Will you bring that running gag back? And if so, can you do it in STORIES OF SODOR series too? Not done by Percy, but some of the other engines as well?
@@雪者 Me: Tony's not the only one Duck should worry about. *I pointed at Scrooge McDuck is beating up Duck with his cane.* Zee: Did Scrooge invested money in his... MiGatito: Nope. He just hates Duck for creating a Crypto Scam that shames the Duck bird itself.
DUCK!!!!!! Whaddya think you're doing?!?!??! That's Percy's thing!!! DO NOT STEAL!!! What would he think about that?! By the way, you startled even me with it.
