I am always amazed by the professionalism of the (ahem) majority of engines on Sodor. Regardless of the circumstances (a derailment, broken on one side, failed regulators, jammed valves, blocked funnels, etc.) they always valiently struggle on, if only to the next station. The world needs people that are more like these locomotives, and I think that's a major part of the appeal of the world of Sodor, as the good Reverend Awdry intended it and you have portrayed it. Good Work.
Nice episode. Though I do kinda agree with what Ciremi said about the "emptiness" feeling. Could do with some sound fx added in during the editing stage, it would really enhance the scenes.
nice work WNW, I agree with thetraindude48, I like how the Skarloey Railway engine are painted in the RWS colors, it makes your series all the better, I look forward to this series every week, keep up the good work :)
Wildnorwester you do a great job doing these videos and you make a good narrator and if they were back to doing the old Thomas and they asked you to narrate it would you do it?
I like them better when they're in the TV colours. Sould you do an episode when the narrow guage engines like to be in random colours because of the Talyllyn Railway?
I do like Duncan even though he is Rough, Rude, and Funny and is he Scottish because I recognise his Language. And I guess he didn’t mean to make Peter Sam upset 😲😳😳😳😳😳😢🚂
Nice episode 7/10.i liked the basic idea, but please do a little more research on arrivals(don't worry I have my own dates like come out henry 1945 and the flying kipper crash was in December 1950 and henrys sneeze is 5 months later.cool reskin, but know you make these special models for standard gauge, please make RWS shaped skarloey engines, like Duncan has all the pipes, and the engines have thinner boiler and peter Sam has a flat special funnel.good luck with STEY
Hi, I'm not sure what you're getting at with the arrival dates. Duncan arrived in 1959 - the 1978 reference was referring to the song 'Old Time Rock'n'Roll', which was playing on the radio - that was the year it came out. Also, I've already said I'm planning to do my own RWS versions of the Skarloey Engines for season 2 of STMY.
I think WNW meant "That wasn't even funny in 1978" as in the trucks had made the joke when the song Old Time Rock N Roll came out, which was the year 1978.
Hey wildnorwester, can I record your theme song from one of your videos and upload it on my channel so my subscribers will go and check out your channel?
Nice story! I see the trucks haven't forgotten Duncan's mishap. Too bad for Duncan :P Just noticed Bear pass by the sheds- wonder why he's still blue here? It was and is very entertaining.
Another great episode but as some of the others have said you should consider some more sound effects and music to make it more lively; such as sound for when Duncan smashes through the fence. By far you are undoubtedly way ahead of everyone else with your writing talent but now it's time to see about enhancing the adapt-ions.:)
I completely agree; Thomas music is overused in most videos which is why I never used it in my own series; though if you ever did feel you wanted to put in more music; you could try going for music that not everyone uses (Though I'd recommend not using Kevin Mcleod's as it's become almost as common as Thomas music); either way the sound FX are much more important than the music anyway :)
These become more amazing each episode, i see you still have that red error sign on the corner of the screen. Just click it and press close then it won't show if it comes up again anytime just do the same.
I mean like, non-Trainz sound effects might sound better than just using the raw Trainz ones. I.e adding some sound effects for crashing through the fence would give the scene more feeling. Just an idea,
last time i checked the narrow gaurge engines in this series were in tv seies colors. i guess theres an explanation for the change to rws colours. maybe the same as what happened with the scottish twins? not complaining, just wondered.
+RayMKlll Because these are the colours they are (all of them, including Rusty) in the Railway Series. Only the TV series kept them multi-coloured, and my series follows the Railway Series continuity.
