To those that don’t understand, tamales are cooked in husks, usually corn, that needs to be removed before eating. Sody didn’t remove the husk, hence the lesson.

In Poland you can even eat them. (I'm not serious, we just have a meal called "gołąbki" which means "pigeons", this is just a joke, don't worry. They are save. I don't really understand why people don't like them exept pooping everywhere."

For those who don’t get it, Tamales are wrapped in corn husk part which aren’t edible but do make an excellent wrapper and are great for keeping the heat and steam in for the cooking process. Most people don’t realize you have to unwrap the tamales 🫔
As a mexican, im happy that they did research and depicted tamales correctly, also those who wonder, tamales have a corn husk wrapped around and has to be removed from the tamale(the corn husk cannot be eaten)

This hits so close to me bc I did the same thing. My boyfriends family is Mexican and he was super excited to give me some Tamales. What he failed to tell me was exactly what everyone in this comments section is saying- they're cooked in corn husks that change color through the process. So when I eagerly chomped into my first tamale, I got a mouthful of cooked corn leaf. 😅

For those that don't get it, (like me), a Tamale is a dish that, to put it bluntly, is kinda like a hot pocket. Ingredients wrapped in a dough and cooked, however, they are steamed, in a banana leaf or corn husk, and served with the wrapping. The wrapping can, according to Wikipedia, be tossed or used like a plate, so biting into one, without knowing in advance, would be unpleasant.
Update 2: The entity is nowhere to be seen. I have spotted a reality break, though. The Angel claimed the young one was 8, when we've confirmed their age is 9. More investigation must be continued.

I feel like this is actually a pretty important reminder that child characters in shows are indeed children. Too often we treat them or they're written like adults but bro is literally just 8, tell him how to get to the tamale goodness you fiend.
