Yesterday over 20 million shares were borrowed by short sellers. Today the stock tanks on great earnings. Its so obviously manipulated. Yet SEC can't or doesn't want to do anything. I just do not understand this. But still i feel confident holding the stock!
it's legal for outsiders to buy and short a stock to manipulate its price. If you have billions to short a stock, you can do it. nothing can stop you. it doesn't mean you will make money.

I constantly see the undervalue of this company....so I buy more and hold. I get over $5k in dividends from other stocks every month. I am now using that monthly income to buy more and more SoFi
@@wizaramansa rather not say. However I have been investing since I was 17 and read the book "The wealthy barber" I have many different investing accounts depending on risk. I have my dividends only account. added Apple and META to that account once they started paying divvies. but I bought META years ago when i realized that more than a quarter of the worlds population uses one or more of their platforms. Then I have my "gamble" account which was up 400% over the pandemic. Took a lot of those profits to upgrade my house...new kitchen, central air. new car for my wife and a new bike for me. If a stock has a DRIP ( dividend reinvestment program) look into it. See what the drip offers. I have a few that when I get the divvy. The money buys more of the stock...no fees plus a 2% discount. BTW. When I was 17. i started with putting away $10 a week. Get into the habit of paying yourself first. And always remember this...No one cares about your money more than you do!

Agreed, instead of following rumors or a hearsay, I adopted the service of an advisor early 2020 amid covid-outbreak, and after subsequent investments to date, I've attained my most significant financial milestone, just about 10% shy of $1m.

I think a lot of it has to do with their competition having the cash to continually beat the crap out of the stock by shorting the living sh*t out of it. However, it'll be more and more difficult for them to do so as the Institutional Ownership grows more and more, and they keep making more and more cash.
@trunkmonkey355 Notorious Noto just needs to focus on strengthening the fundamentals q over q. The short issue will sort itself out. It will slowly unwind. Keep in mind that a big part of the short interest is a delta hedge against the recent raise. That will unwind as the stock goes up and gets closer to that 12 to 14 dollars a share. I keep selling conservative CC against my position and use the premium to add more shares. By doing this, I don't lose my mind when the SP doesn't move.

Who care is it's being manipulated or not? If you bought it to trade, that's on you not realizing the trading pattern. If you bought it to hold long term, the short-term downward push will mean nothing in 2 years and they have a comparable EPS. If you really think it's so undervalued, just take the opportunity to buy more.
How can anyone want to invest in a company that announces good earnings. And after good earnings, the share is sold out, as today no reasonable investor will invest his money. Day trading or swing is possible with this stock. But as an investment, this stock is a really bad choice, at least at this time.
I just really don't get this stock, apparently. "Extraordinary" numbers? I do not see how anyone can read this report and call the numbers "extraordinary." I am surprised the stock is not down 10% or more.
