@@weerapatkiatdumrongI bought this flashlight. Great flashlight, very nice front and side light. The disadvantages include a poorly centered diode in the reflector, perhaps the diode's fault ((I heard somewhere that it is not fully compatible with this type of reflector). It is similar with the SST20 in one of my cataracts where the hot spot is not exactly round because the SST diode it has two "bitten" corners. And the BUCK controller only works with the main SFT40 diode. The side light has no stabilization, but the side light has the highest CRI of 98.
@@weerapatkiatdumrongThere is also an additional circle in this light - it doesn't look nice. I bought a tool to open this flashlight. Maybe I'll change to some TI R optics
@@weerapatkiatdumrong Thanks. Overall, I really like this flashlight. I'm currently waiting for a tool to unscrew the ring. I don't know if I did the right thing. But I bought a tool to unscrew watch cases. It has an adjustable pin spacing.
Thanks for the comparison WK! I'm glad to see Sofirn using Buck drivers and warmer color emitters and I hope they continue this trend on their newer lights.
nice review as usuall and nice beam from if24 pro. i like the 5000k of SFT40. if i have to choose only one flashlight for my outdoor activities, i will definitely choose this one. thank you for your effort sir.
Good video master!!! Well that Buck Driven looks like it came to stay, 10 minutes and the turbo is still powerful Wow didn't think it would last that long.
@jo3lo13 Hello sir. Just some sir. I know because of it us advertised. But I am sure that if it uses buck driver, it will be clearly stated sir. Thanks for watching and your support sir 😊🙏.
Will you make a video comparing the IF24 Pro to the IF23? That would be very interesting and useful because most people think the IF24 Pro is an upgrade of the IF23 which in my opinion it isn't. Thank you)
I've got an IF23 and would like to see if the IF24 Pro is worth upgrading to. I've got the SC13, SP33, and C8L, all in addition to a bunch of other makes, so it would have to be significantly better to make it a worthwhile purchase.
I have the IF23 and the IF24 Pro. The IF24 Pro is such an improvement! I do agree that the rotary switch should not turn the light on, however, the combo of the sft40 and side flood is perfection in my opinion. Really, the only negative you could consider is the downgrade from a 21700 to a 18650, however, with a buck driver it will be interesting to see the runtimes.
@@michaelbowman7398 I'm pleasantly surprised with how well my IF23 has held up-- I'm a firefighter and have used it on numerous calls, from sticking it to the side of a car while cutting the door off to lighting the hose bed as we reload it to holding & illuminating notes while I type up my charts. The moonlight mode is great for navigating the dark dorm after the rest of the guys have gone to bed, and I've even tied off the light to some cordage so I could lower it through a storm drain and grab a set of keys someone dropped! I do wish it had dual springs (one in each end) for the battery contacts so the cell would not get dented from drops.
Good review, the pro is an improvement. It's smaller and has a smaller battery than the IF23, so I feel the name isn't really logical, seems more like it should be named IF22. I think for owners of the IF23 the IF24 isn't really necessary to buy, unless the smaller size is needed?
Hi! Great review. I liked the road test, helped me work out if the profile helps with cycling! I think the buck version should have longer run times as more efficient. Q. Could you test the run times of them both? Maybe with the same battery to be fair?
wait...the light turns on when you turn the rotary switch? thats annoying if you are on the colour LED and want to rotate to lockout. It would have to turn on the other lights before it go to lock out. kind of a deal breaker considering i don't need the light.

Thanks for review! You haven't mentioned the rings outside of the hotspot on IF24 Pro version and, as I see from other reviews, it's a common problem. Can anything be done to remove them, modify reflector maybe?
Yes got that on mine also. Coming from reylight and convoy the beam spread is patchy. Personally too throwy for my liking but then it does have a side light. I like it but dont love it. I wanted to love it because it fits needs but was left just slightly wanting on the beam pattern
Hello sir. Yes. Some rings sir hut not too ugly for outdoor use. Just fine a new reflector and replace it sir. But to fint one that can fit might not be easy. However, I think I will try to change its reflector. Thanks for watching and your support sir 😊. Please subscribe 🙏.
I have this flashlight and there is indeed a circle. Maybe I can replace it with a TIR optics or a reflector. But you have to take it out and measure it first. But on the outside it doesn't really matter that much. The beam range is impressive. The diode is also apparently not suitable for this headlamp - the light is slightly shifted, which I saw in one of the tests and it's the same for me. The light escapes a little to the side. However, it's not a premium product, so I'm not asking for too much. Despite these disadvantages, at this price it is a really interesting flashlight.
