I have both and I find that the Marauder mini is much easier to operate than the IF30. The rotary knob on the IF30 is really hard to use, especially to unlock the flashlight. It often takes more than five attempts to unlock, which is quite difficult with cold hands due to its sharp corners and its mechanical resistance to rotation. Unless mine is broken? Not sure. But once unlocked, it works fine. Is there another way to unlock this flashlight? I like the fact that the IF30 in spot mode still has spill, allowing you to see the space around. On the other hand, the included 32650 battery in the IF30 cannot deliver the power needed in turbo mode. The difference is huge: maximum 5 A from the battery vs. 35 A needed by the LEDs. This battery is going to be damaged quite quickly in this mode. Strange choice from Sofirn's part.
