The SC32 is my favourite flashlight of the dozen I own. The field is superb for average use, the actual use is great, the hold is comfortable, and it is rugged. The colour is excellent if you appreciate a daylight -like beam. This is all for the 5000K led. Easy recharging. Get one.
Thanks for the review! Does Sofirn discontinue products often? I’m thinking about getting another one as a backup unless there is something out there better for the price.
I dont think they discontinue products very much, sometimes they make a "pro" version of lights. The SC32 is still my go to EDC light. I personally havent found anything that can beat it for the price, size, runtime, and general ergonomics.
For the SIZE, it’s awesome! You can swap out batteries as needed when camping, and it’s moonlight mode makes a great nightlight or is useful when you need just a little bit of light and not be noticeable or ruin your night vision. I think it’s like a half lumen. I also bought an SC33, a 5200 lumen light that is like the SC32’s big brother. If you like yours, you’ll also like the Wurkos (spelling?) TD02.
On the standard version (SST-40) the tint of the emitter comes down to the binning. Its like a lottery. If you get the HCRI version it should have a good tint with 519A no matter what
@@KYROandHisThings - Thank you, But isn’t that the lower powered version? I’d rather have a yellowish tint 2000 lumen flashlight than one with a whiter tint but not as bright. I think I’m living with this one until I can learn more. 👍🏽😎
I just bought one too, love it! Incredible battery life, I camp for a week, and the flashlight was used and lasted all week, despite being on 24x7. Granted, at night it was in low candlelight mode, it still had 3.1 volts at the end of the week.
@@KYROandHisThings I just compared them side by side. FC12 does blow the TD02 out of the water!! The SFT40 is more powerful than the SST40 and that's probably why. I can't wait until they make a SFT40 in warm white.
I recently bought a TD02 myself, and love it! It has a slightly more focused beam than the SC32, but the 6 modes are perfection. I also bought a Sofirin SC 33, a 5200 lumen light, and it is also exceptional!
The turbo runtime is rubbish, youre better of with a lower lumen and more CD. Thers one that last 4 minutes on turbo, i forgot if it was Nitecore, but a quick blast for a few seconds, fair play, but the drop down is horrendous on some. From 2000 some drop to a few hundred lumen after 40 seconds. No thanks.
