hi bro.. i just got this flashlight... and they changed the battery to a larger one and it fits perfectly without space.. and no more rattle and sound.. i think they heard you... now its perfect..

Nice! That's good...the rattle is enough to be noticeable...glad to hear that you got a solid copy. Maybe mine was just a little off somehow...

Hmmm...interesting. That's good, the only issue I had was the rattle, so glad to hear they don't all have the problem.

Mom!!! Tell Eric to stop shining his new Sofirn sp33 version 3.0 with new usb c charging connector in my eyes. It’s high quality aluminum construction is going to leave blisters on my retina. Btw, nice light. Good size.

Haha, every now and then I get in a "discussion" with my wife that ends with a quick disorienting burst from a high power flashlight accidently aiming her direction. It's probably not the nicest way to end our discussion, but it allows me to slip away real quick to go hide...haha. She gets me back...trust me.

@@outerlimitless Yah.. I'm a big sofirn fan.. I picked up an SP32 from Lowe's a while back an had no idea what I had until I watched a video.. Then I learned about its folklore and turbo mode! hahaha The first time I kicked it into turbo I shite.. -Can't figure out my coast XP19r though. Piece of crap. I just purchased the SP33 and a wowtac A5.. I'm really happy with them both! The wowtac has serious "wow" factor" LoL for your Fire-side palz.. Oh! I recently picked up the PT18 pro as well.. Now all I need is an Imalent MS03 and ahhhh that should hold me for a while LoL.. My all time fave was always my lumintop EDC 18.. Another light which I had no idea was "the light" and later found out it could strobe and turbo to my delight hahaha.. Great reviews my man!

Thank you! We go to some pretty cool places. We're good for a trip about every other month on average...winter time can vary. But spring through fall we get out quite a bit!

Tell your viewers it's anodized type 3 which that is great a lot of flashlights companies don't do that that means that's going to be scratch proof and the bezel and the lens ❤️

The moonlight on that flashlight is great. Actually the low mode has me the most impressed. Great beam, bright enough to save my butt...and a very long runtime!

I'm always dissatisfied but THIS edc is great. It's about 5500k The head is small lasts long w/ that 26650 but if you want brighter, get a light w/ 3 or 4, XHP50.2 leds but then the head is too big to edc. I really like my SP33 v3 but only if it is w/ the white light.

Your forgot to show the ramping mode, in low mode you press 4 times to ramping mode.

Also you didn't mention the lock-out mode. Someone who didn't read the instructions could hit the lockout mode and then think his light was broken, when all he did was lock himself out.

I just got the Sofirn f22a, i wish they installed the anduril software in that light, I'm not sure why they choose not to ? That 33 light seems allot like my f22a, similar size and brightness. Mine is rated 690 meter throw.

That rattle issue of yours can be easily fixed by wrapping a turn of electrical tape on each side of the batt, and that OA downside of yours is eliminated! Just my 2 cents..

Yes, I agree...but they should be machining to tighter tolerances in my opinion. Just my observations on quality control and overall design and machining.

Is there a way to keep the switch button light on all the time? It happened with mine once, but after I changed the batterry it doesn't anymore!

I don’t own a light over 2000 lumens but I’ve thought about getting some crazy 10,000 lumen plus beast for fun though 2000 lumens is plenty bright for me unless I have guard tower duty 😉.

I'm a Chinese guy. It's a Chinese light made in Shenzhen, China. "sew-firn" is the right pronunciation. The reviewer does a great job of reviewing. But his pronunciation of "Sof-firn" is wrong, just sayin' =)

Thanks for the idea...I just checked out the WOWTAC battery and it is taller than the Sofirn battery by quite a bit. I rattles a touch, but not nearly as much as the Sofirn battery. So that is definitely something to consider. Great comment...thanks for watching!

Great review. I do have some cons, as a new owner - The finishes are a bit too rough and there are sharp edges. Not "knife-sharp", but definitely not pleasant to hold. The handle grooves are too gentle, and the grip is quit poor. Could see it sliding away if not holding it really tight. Don't know if and how their warranty works, but since I couldn't find any S/N and the very low price, I assume it cannot compete with lights such as Fenix, for example. And lastly, although it does have great functionality - it is not a good looking light.

It needs something...I also noted that other batteries are taller, thus depressing the spring more and that helps too.
