Hi sir, How much do u spend monthly or yearly ? Big fan of ur videos. Plz share your spending habits sir or what all you cover on credit card? Most of our regular expenses don’t cross above 30k per month Remaining are upi payments where POS machines don’t exist like street food, small groceries, bakeries, clinics, etc. So may be we are missing out some crucial spends which we can do using cards as well like u, so plz share some details
Hello My maximum expenses are via credit cards and I strictly follow a rule to check on vouchers for payment which can be purchased at discount and extra rewards points from card companies like Amex..HDFC , SBI and Axis Like for groceries , I will buy swiggy money vouchers from Amex and load the same in swiggy wallet and use instamart....for electricity, mobile , internet, Ola uber ...will buy Amazon voucher from Amex/HDFC and pay from there Small steps every day and you can accumulate lot of points in a year or so for free vacation 😀😀 Hope it helps
Hello @writetopardeep, primary cards used to collect Accor points was Axis Magnus but the same is devalued now ...if you want to earn Accor points now then Axis Atlas is the best card which gives a reward rate of around 7.2% on your everyday spend in form of Accor stays. My monthly spends in Bengaluru area in range of 1.2 lac to 2 lacs
@@thetravellingfamily : Wow, I'm nowhere close to that sort of spend. May be 5-6 lakhs per annum. I hold Amex Gold, MRCC and Axis Atlas. Here's my strategy: 1. Amex Gold - 1000rs*6 = 6000rs - 1000points+600 base (for gytr Amazon gift card) 2.MRCC - 5000rs*4 = 20k - 2400MR points (approx again from gytr Amzn gift card) 3. For everything else - I use Atlas Any inputs from you to improve my plan?
That's perfect plan ...if your expenses increase by 2-3 lacs ...there is no harm holding amex Platinum Travel in wallet and use that in place of atlas till 4 lac ...it's free for first year
@@writetopardeephi sir, can we combine and use points from these two cards together ? Also u have to pay almost 9k for renewal for these two cards right, how is ur experience on this renewal fee? Thanks for sharing your strategy sir 🙏👍
@@thetravellingfamily In this mariyott bonvoy which offer of 30% bonus points which comes only once in a year??and if we purchase those points and how long we can keep them in mariyott bonvoy account life time or have to use it ?
In terms of value aspects, video is missing a number of information points, like how did you obtain the Accor membership or their points in the first place, or how you received spa vouchers etc. Decent walkthrough of the property, but while you have showcased well enough where you used your points and which facilities, its not really focussed on how one your viewers may replicate it to receive similar travel benefits.
Hello , Thanks for the feedback ; will definitely incorporate all your suggestion next time we vlog. Now coming to current vlog let me give background about points raised. 1. Accor membership : there is nothing called as membership ; it is just points earned on credit card transferred to Accor account. Best card in India to earn Accor points are Axis Atlas, Axis Magnus / Reserve and HDFC Diners black / Infinia....best. And easy to use is Axis Atlas ....just by applying card and paying 5K Joining fees , one get straight value of around 18K in Accor hotels. 2. Regarding SPA vouchers ; I booked a rate from Accor ( higher compared to normal rate ) in which SPA was there so no hack here. Hope I am clear with explanation. Please feel free to reach again if you have any further questions. You can DM us on insta also 🙂
