Soft Plastic Bait Making-Color Matching Bluegill Flash 

I am so happy to have found this video, thank you! My grandfather recently gave me this to try and match. I have gotten close but have now realized where I messed up. Thank you for this info!

So happy to see someone else burp the injectors. I preach this all the time and it really gets the air out and gives you a good firm injection without the sponginess. Better feel when the mold is full. Try this color I came up with. Make a simple pink or red and add a little bit of blue Pearl powder (not hi-lite powder). Works best in baits with thin tails or appendages.

Great job man. Yours look much more vibrant, Keitech loads their baits with salt so they normally have a dullness to them.

I don't think keitech has green pumpkin in it, just black, like a smoke with black, blue, and gold flek. You did a great job though. Those will catch fish! Tight Lines!!

i can't stand color matching. I have a minimum of 500 of the same bait and a $100 premium. Thats how much I dislike it. Customers ask why so much quantity and the premium. As you well know, when we color match, we do it to the best of our ability. Sometimes we get lucky with a few cups, and most of the time were stuck with a pyramid of different shaded bucks. The reason I say 500 of the same plastic, again as you well know, pouring/injecting a very dense 8" swimbait versos the 6-inch worm, or one of my Silverside Minnows. The difference between an 8 inch swimbait and my 3.75" Silverside Minnows are night and day in comparison, even though I'm shooting or pouring the same exact color. Once locked in and the customer is right. I store the recipe. That recipe now becomes the owner of that said color. The next time they need something poured, they will not pay the premium and the quantity of baits gets cut down in half. Plastic isn't cheap, and don't buy cheap plastic. i weight 10 plastics, weight them by 10, then weight them by 5. I usually wind up giving 10 to 30 extra worms to the customers. Nobody likes pucks laying around. Glad I found your channel. I wish all the success for you.
