I watch a lot of your RU-vid videos and they have some great information on how to do some of the same similar baits that we are making. I started my business this year and it’s been somewhat of a learning experience. I was wondering if you had time to DM me. I have some questions on shooting dual laminates. We seem to always have problems with them coming out looking good. We cook everything to an even temp around 330 to 320. If you have time or could provide any tips it would be much appreciated. Thank you sir

The problem I have when shooting dual laminates they seem to bleed over more on one side or I find a streak of the top color on the side. What temps to you find to work the best when doing dual laminates? Do you find using a liquid pigment a powder as the other color to cause issues? Thanks

Sounds like temps too hot to me. Try shooting at a lower temp like around 305 this can vary depending on the mold and style of bait as well as density of plastisol you are using. Liquid color to liquid color or powder to powder usually works best. Saturation of pigments when shooting powders to liquid is a bit difficult until you get temps dialed in for laminates. “Example” if I’m using a worm blend plastic I will shoot laminates at 300-305. Medium density I’ll setup to 305-310 hard density I will shoot around 310-320. Give this a try.
