*SOFT* Winged Liner: Hooded Eyes 

Thank you for taking the time to talk about the devastation that has occurred and continues to occur in NC. I live just an hour away, so we are safe, and life has gone back to normal for us after a few days... and yet, it is in my "backyard." Helicopters flying overhead all day... our grocery stores are emptying out of essentials from all of us gathering supplies to donate... grassroots organization and local airports, private jets flying supplies to the area. So so hard to watch the suffering and the destruction. Unfathomable. AND, I love watching beautiful artists like you... it is soothing and I see it as an artistic escape, something beautiful to focus on... I deeply appreciate that you spoke of the heartbreak, and the art can also exist. Much love ❤🙏

Love it when you teach like this - it looks like it will be super easy with practice. I played with it yesterday. I got an Ulta whoopsie pen for eyeliner mistakes and it works great! Praying for all of the hurricane victims that they all find a safe place as they start the rebuilding process. Thank you Michelle for your education and kind heart! ❤

I have always had VERY hooded eyes my entire life, but of course as I am approaching 50 they are getting even more hooded…I am not confident with eyeshadows but have always wanted and loved the simplicity of the winged eye..this helps so very much. Thank you for bringing attention to the hurricane and for providing some much needed distraction. I live in WNC in Madison County, just north of Asheville and Burnsville(Yancey Co.) borders the other side. It is utter devastation. We were incredibly blessed to not have major damage to our home. I lost a dear friend who was swept away and drowned. Downtown Marshall which is just five minutes away, almost completely washed away. My husband works for Charter and he comes home every day so defeated at all he has seen. He said it’s worse than he ever seen in the Army. So many communities in multiple counties were simply just swept away. Entire roads gone. The rugged terrain makes it even harder for people to be reached. I’m not even sure when school will reopen. Our kids are hurting and missing their friends. I came back from the Seint conference so excited with lots of ideas, but now I just don’t have the heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! Love you 💜

Im am Empath too. All my life. I feel you . Literally. That is why i dont watch news anymore. Im a US Navy veteran and became 100% disabled during my duty. And my mental health was hit the most.

I love this look!! I need to try a wing again. I used to do it all the time when I was competing in ballroom dance but at 74 wasn’t sure if I should😂😂 Chelle I get you are an empath and open as am I. This tragedy is heartbreaking. I feel even in texts what the feeling is that is coming through. I have always been “open”. It’s a gift my friend. I love you!! I wish I could do peels😢. I lived through Katrina at 64 miles from New Orleans and it was devastating. No power for a month but supplies were available to be picked up when streets were cleared. My heart breaks for these people. I can’t watch the news anymore I sob. I totally get where you are my friend. I keep them in my prayers and you as well. I love you Chelle😘😘❤️🙏🙋‍♀️

I appreciate your video, helping me to get my mind off circumstances. A friends daughter and college friends have evacuated here due to Asheville situation, and my county has boil water ordinance due to flooding in VA. A local high school teacher died because a tree fell on her while she was cleaning her yard. She was 30! I also love the eyeliner tutorial! And, Tate is adorable!!

I learned this technique from Nikki LaRose, with the shadow, micellar and pointed q-tip however not to disparage Nikki at all (love her) I learned so much more here watching you correct mistakes and having to keep playing with it which is so authentic to my at home experience. Just hearing you say that’s ok, now I don’t feel like I’ve tried so many times and still don’t get it right the first time- THATS OK! Thank you so much. So helpful!! About halfway through watching so I’m sure there is more tips coming that will be helpful.

Have u tried Trish McEvoy Shadow Transformer? Its a liquid drop that sets powder shadow to a liquid liner ? My hood is heavy and almost touches my lash line. But it is also downturned past my outer corner and blocks any attempt of a wing. Ultimately my only option is a "batwing " which i do not like. Ugh
