Softening the Hard Shell of Personality - Amoda Maa 

As I awoke this morning with strong anxieties, all the old armies associated with them appeared, dragging me down into familiar and ever increasing heaviness, dread, fear and paralysis. So here is this wonderful option. Simply open softly and quietly to my anxiety. Allowing it space and freedom to exist. No comments or stories or frantic strategising. My anxiety now is just simple, naked and then transformed. With this clear direction from Amoda and my my own experience I know the truth of this. I see too that there is the temptation to go back to the old way and despite how much I know it makes things worse, it’s like a crutch and seems easier than the simple newness and tiny wonder of just being quiet and open and true. Thank you.

The only reality that matters is yours, as the narrator and cosmic traveller in this drama we call life. So thank you for this wonderful share and adding your magic into my life. I just want to say that ... astrology is not only about the story and the storymaker. Just like the sun influeces the earth: temperature, light and dark, growth cycles, photosynthesis, melatonin secretion etc; just like the moon influences the tide, a womans menstrual cycle etc - the rest of the planets influence the earth and all of its inhabitants too. We are in a grid, with others, from planets and stars, temples, churches, stone circles and pyramids - to insects and plants, trees, animals, fish and humans. These planetary influences have indeed been interpreted using the human imagination and language but they are also aligned with the megalithic structures - and for a very good reason. Without the human imagination, even the ocean is 'just' a wave, insperable from the sand and the mountain. Our brain has developed over many years to see colour and shapes and to distinguish one thing from another. Yet we still have no way of knowing if we see colour in the same way or even if we taste the same? To imagine that you can control all of these influences, simply by awakening, is slightly veering off into a world of make believe, separation or denial. You cannot influence the sun or how it effects your melatonin secretion; or how your melatonin secretion effects your sleep cycle, and hormones - which effect your body and your mood. You cannot stop the moon from moving the tide, and influencing your hormones and mentrual cycle. Yes, you can choose not be aware of these influences; cut them off; or merge with them so that everything becomes one and the same; habituate them so that one becomes the other. You can have no story, and see everyting as the same. You can choose to live beneath the surface, in subatomic realiity, where everything dances away; and is just a particle and a wave? But this does not make them go away, it just makes you blind to their mateiral existence and individual, unique beauty, and darkness. It cuts you off from the celebration of the united diversity of life. Even Love is a thing of the imagaination - that can only exist in contrast and in harmony with its brother and sister hate. Life and death are very real and need to be lived and mourned, because this life is indeed tragic, there is nothing here to celebrate without loss. There is nothing to lose without love. We cannot deny the pain and the horror anymore than we can deny the beauty and pleasure that keep us coming back. We can neutralise it all in order to stop the pendulum from taking us into its quagmire. But no sooner does it stop, that we voluntarily return, if only to taste once again, feel a little more, and lose ourselves in the endless stream of consciousness that is all God. from the good the bad and the ugly. And astrology is part of this story; this story of electricity, that pulses through our veins, spinal column, and leylines.
