Softopper: Unboxing and Installation Ram 1500

This video shows my installation of a Softopper on my 2019 Ram 1500 for the very first time. I think overall it may have taken a half hour? But now that I understand how it works I'd imagine I could install one much quicker. It seems to be a very solid product: very easy to install and manipulate how you want it. Truth be told this was essentially a very expensive Easy-Up for the Flatlander Family to keep our dogs out of the sun when we go camping. Please like, comment and subscribe.

Great video! I just ordered one for my 2019 RAM. How long did yours take to arrive after you ordered it? Thanks for posting this, helps people make decisions when looking at things online.

Thanks a lot buddy! Glad you liked it. If I remember right it was somewhere around a week to ship? Also, when it arrived I thought I got the wrong color shipped to me as it was grey, then I realized that was just the underside of the black material. Cheers!

Have you had any problems with dust from dirt roads getting on your gear?

I honestly have hardly used it. It was basically a glorified easy up for the dogs when we go camping and we’ve only used it once for that. I think if you took the effort it’d keep the majority of the dust out but it obviously ain’t air tight. Thanks for watching!

No I didn’t. I’ve honestly hardly used the topper. It was basically for a shade for the dogs when we go camping since we now have a baby that takes up the backseat

To be honest, I pretty much only use it from time to time for camping, but seems like it is built well and shouldn't leak. I think it came with seam sealer... Good luck brother! Please subscribe!
