Hey friends!
Last video I touched on how I still needed to get realm and mongoDB (Atlas) hooked up...Well, I finally did! Still not completely locked down, I need to integrate with Supabase OTP auth, but we're finally syncing from the local device up to the cloud and back down! I think this will be HUGE for the woodworking community where service is often 💩.

Hi Andrew, i’m working on a design of blog site where i’ll be blogging about latest tech updates including the tips on how to stay ahead of cyber criminals, yesterday i designed the first page which is a landing page, and im pretty happy about it, hopefully i will be doing more work in the next few days.😆

Yessss!! Realm users unite! What’re you using to generate your _id field? I saw some warnings trying to to use BSON directly due to a lack of crypto polyfill

@@_andrewpeacock yea I saw that one too, I installed and imported react-native-get-random-values in App.js, haven’t seen the warning since that. Now my turn! 😂 did you go for objectID for primary keys or something else? I get warnings related to that 🤪

Nice! I actually tried that and the warning persisted😂 right now I transitioned away from objectId in favor of uuidv4 -this would be my PK atm. I’ll smooth out the data models over time, several articles note uuid isn’t a great PK but we’ll see!
