What is smoke testing and sanity testing: Smoke testing test the most important functionality of system. for example: Testing login page Sanity testing test the newly added functionality as per client demand. once above those test is passed to regression testing. Sir please let me know if i am correct or not.??? Thanks for the tutorial.
Hey Anuraj,, Smoke and Sanity testing both are somewhat common in nature it's just that we use these terms on different stages of our application. “checking the critical functionalities when application is relatively unstable is smoke testing. “Checking the critical functionalities when application is stable is called sanity testing”. Please see the detail here: prelrik.wordpress.com/2016/12/05/smoke-sanity-testing/
Hello Pankaj. i like your video.. Thank you so much. I am an Electronic Engineer & well in Hardware Design for Various Electronic Control System. I also good in basic microcontroller Software writting in C.. that to be through various complier available as per controller manufacturer.. i want to know that same software testing methology will be used in Embedded Software Testing also ? or embedded Software testing.. or C software testing is something different.. if you have some further video on Embedded Software testing please passed me link.. or Comment on my doubt.. Thanks
Thanks Bhairav. While the Embedded systems are quite different than the application testing but the core of testing is going to remain same. There are some hardware based testing tools for embedded system testing which is not common for application testing also there is no GUI in embedded systems so not all application testing is related with embedded sys testing. Being an application tester I really have not much idea on that part but I did some exploration on net and the best I can suggest you is to read an article here: www.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/459.html Please let me know if I can help you with something, Many Thanks!
Thank you Pankaj for your wonderful presentation. Each and every topic are detailed. Even a non technical student can understand the way you've explained everything.
Hi Pankaj. This video is really very helpful for the beginners to learn about the testing and its functionalities. Also kindly ping me the other video link so that I can follow that too.
Thanks Bajarangi. I haven't created any video or blog post on agile so far but I will create one and post it here very soon. In case if it's very urgent for you to know then send a mail at pankaj.dubey@prelrik.com and I'll arrange a skype session for you.

Hi , I am from Indai, 31 year old and have 4 years of experience in service desk. I wish to move in Software testing field Is it possible now? I can get 6 months of internship but after that I have t search job on my own with 6 months of experience
I dont have degree on IT . I talked to a "personal teacher" and he told me that it is better to be QA/Tester because it is a bit easier for someone who has not degree on IT . He said that he suggest it to everyone who has not degree. He said that i will learn python, sql ect ect ect .... I said him that i am police officer at Europe Union country and i want to change my job , i want to go to U.K.. I asked him if there is a way to connect my previous job and the new one in IT , in my CV. He said that everything in IT can not connect in POLICE. Do you agree with this ? That nothing can connect and that the only easy way for someone who has not degree in IT is QA/tester . Could someone be at first QA/Tester and if he want it , he will change it to be software developer later ?
Hi Rhymes, There is one more type of Functionality Testing called Gray Box but no concrete definition is formed or sub testing types are formed for this. Considering the fact that Integration is not completely Black Box or White box many people believe that it is part of Grey Box.
Hi All, Please view the slides here: www.slideshare.net/PankajDubey41/software-testing-course-manual?qid=2ae192ff-2758-4090-b855-c3b12dc90f19&v=&b=&from_search=6

It covers alomist 80% of important and asked interview question so you are good to go ahead. But there will be more scenario based questions so you need to be prepared for that. watch my another video on Interview questions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-onKklwfIWkA.html
