Sogasuga Mridanga Talamu - Ragam Sriranjani - Talam Rupakam - Composer Tyagaraja Excerpt from a concert for Carnatica in December 2014. Violin: Sri Vittal Ramamurthy Mridangam: Sri Anantha R Krishnan
What extraordinary mrdangam artistry!!! I have praised Abhisek Raghuram before, but this time my compliments and congratulations go to Sri Anantha R Krishnan! A Swedish fan of Carnatic music.
Vittal Ramamurthy is a real violinist unlike on the Carnatic music platforms; he is mellifluous. I wish him good health. Narayanakurup Kanthikumar Abhishek with his cousin by his side is doing a fantastic job with this lovely Sreeanjani song!! I wish the young men all the best.
Thank you. Such an amazing young man with wonderful talent. Thank you to amazing Mr Vittal On violin & Mr Ananth on Mridangam. Beautiful to hear this Look at Abhishek's smiling face & joyous singing .. & his precious chemistry with his accompanists.. his encouragement & his admiration for their expertise. God bless them all.. am blown away
Your rendering behag is superb and Devine. I REMEMBER GREAT LATE TANJORE KALYANARAMAN .YOU HAVE EXELLED HIM IN YOUR BEHAG AND SARAMATHI ALAPANAS.WHAT A GREAT MUSICIAN YOU ARE . A RIGHT PRODIGY OF PALGHAT raghusfamily
Extremely beautiful..as Abhishek's rendition gets assimilated into the flow of Sriranjini , perfect blend of tone n diction and well synchronized rhythm and tempo ...ie. Layam. the entity of the keerthanam that added beauty to the rendition. The class melodic and rhythmic passages using swaras and hauled to end on notes of Shree Ranjani. Percussionists - Violin: Sri Vittal Ramamurthy n Mridangam: Abhishek's cousin- Anantha R Krishnan were so active and did display their might from beginning to the end. Very good recital.
Next time Abhishek must do an MDR delight with Soga suga with the beginning "Mridangatalamu" when his cousin Anantha on the mridangam. Narayanakurup Kanthikumar/Calif
