SoHyang is a devout Christian who survived uterine cancer at the age of 20, the treatments left her unable to have children and she contracted hepatitus which causes bouts of Pneumonia, she's been offered recording contracts and turned them all down as she believes she is to use her voice to comfort people going through hard times, she is also a quite successful writer of fantasy novels

Btw, OP said "sohyang is the best of the best", I'm assuming what you were implying when you said "including dimash" is that sohayng is a better singer than dimash because she's the best of the best and in this case Dimash is a part of the bests that are being bested by sohyang? So technically, in a way, an insubstantial way, you also compared them. There is a possibility that I'm wrong, but I don't think you would bother to reply back to Micheal if you agreed with him, instead you've chosen to oppose his statement. Once again, I apologize for the the mix up and for the whole paragraph.

A world-class singer that deserves so much recognition as she has been receiving been a huge fan of hers since 2014 and have her collection of songs on my channel and I have bought several albums. There is absolutely no song she can arrange and make it her own, she is a rare gem and many of her fans including I love her so much. Please don't let the language barrier get in the way of listening to her sing in her native tongue as they are all so phenomenal and amazing.

Wow amazing I have been listening to this Bridge Over Troubled Water for about one day straight since the original by S&G is one of my all time favs and listened to Arirang Alone per your recommendation. Jesus Christ how have I not come across Sohyang before?? She is possibly my favorite artist ever in a manner of a day and 2 videos.

I have never even listened to a single Korean song I don’t think except maybe BTS when it’s been on the radio, and I think you are right that she is the best in the world. Oh my god. Kim So Hyang re-writes All her own music...instructs the Orchestra/band and also Her Back-up Singer her favorite notes are D3 to A6 and lately has hit a few C#6 so they are close to Whistle...but not at same

Her headvoice and falsetto are so well developed. Not everyone can anatomically whistle, you either can or can't. Her way of balancing out with vocalists that can whistle is similar to Whitney Houston. Both can reach 3,500-4,000 Hz 6th and 7th octave without thinning the note into whistles. Essentially she is hitting 6th+ octave notes she was never meant to reach. Also unlike a delicate whistle that is unpredictable for even masters like Mariah, Morissette and Arianna, her technique gives her actual multiple levels of control over those notes. I'm speaking as a fan of both So Hyang and Morissette Amon and would never be able to pick one over the other.

Really glad to see you guys react to this. It's by no means rock & roll, but everyone needs to hear Sohyang at least once in their lifetime. I first saw this a year or 2 ago and I literally was crying by the end. Her voice is so pure and perfect, and range that's just off the charts. The way it was presented, the way she was dressed, and the whole delivery was amazing and powerful! ..and that final note.. WOW!!😮😁👍 I thought Suzi was going to lose it there a couple of times!😉 Nice change of pace, y'all!

난 이 분들 리액션 아주 좋다고 봄. 우선 1절을 완벽하게 다 들은 다음 잠시 음악을 멈추고 1절에 대한 평가만 아주 짧게 간단히 말한 후 곧바로 2절을 듣는데 노래의 2절이 시작되어서 노래가 완전히 다 끝날때까지 단 한번도 노래를 끊지않고 끝까지 들어서 아주 좋음.그리고 노래가 진행되는 중에 아주 경이롭게 탄성이 나오는 부분에서는 아주 자연스럽게 탄성이 나올 수 밖에 없어서 나오는 그런 리액션(감탄사 발사) 아주 좋았음.그리고 노래를 듣는 이 분들의 "태도"도 아주 좋음. 놀랄때 표정도 굉장히 좋고.아무튼 이 분들 리액션 아주 좋음.
