I check out Soi 6 in Pratumnak, which is largely residential, burt there are a few shops, a sauna bar, as well a night market.

+1 Useful analysis. 3 months per year in Pratumnak planned from 2027 - escaping the high-season Mediterranean summer crowds for low season Pattaya (better rents) with the missus. 2-month e-visa in on French passport, 3-month rental contract, short side trip to a neighbouring country for a long weekend, then back in for a month on visa waiver UK passport. No Jomtien soi 5 immigration, no visa agents. 😊

Been living in the Pattaya area over 4 years and found Phratamnak the best area to live in, but a motorbike or car is necessary imo, if living long term! Wongamat in north Pattaya is also a good area to live in as well!

Some good content, but learn how to pronounce Pattaya correctly. It’s Pat-tee-ahh. Pa tay ah doesn’t exist.

Thanks for watching. As for the pronunciation, you're being a bit pedantic. Maybe it wasn't perfect, but certainly closer to the right pronunciation than a lot of people, & that's based on what I have been told by a couple of Thai people. But if correcting me makes you feel better, good for you 😊
