Hello, I have verified all connections between Arduino Uno, 485 and NPK sensor, also made sure NPK sensor's power wire is connect to 12V DC power source, the code also looks correct with the same address value as in the manual, but it still always gives 255 value for All N, P K values. Any suggestion how I could resolve it?
hi sir, the value obtained by this NPK sensor does it really the actual value of the NPK in soil? the value of NPK obtained by this sensor have it compare with other method to check the accuracy?
Hi, how does the sensor work? Does it have ion selective probes, because how else would it know specific values of the elements? Please tell me how it works its driving me crazy, I can't find anything on it. Also did you compare the samples to a lab by any chance for accuracy? Thank you!

Do you need is possible to power this circuit with batteries? I mean removing the OLED display and then the voltage regulator, to reduce consumption. With this and arduino going to deep sleep and waking it up once each 30 minutes batteries could last some months, isn't it? My doubt is about the NPK sensor, how to power it up? Could 2xAAA batteries power the arduino and the sensor? Will the sensor need some time to stabilize after power on before read it's values?

my Arduino just print 255 for all npk value without connect to sensor or rs485 using your code even after I try to connect with my sensor still i get same result 255 can u help me
Knowing value of npk is helpful, But make it more complete by 1- adding other micro nutrients reading. 2- censor must guide by how much value soil nutrient is deficit in comparison to normal value. 3- how much value of deficit nutrients one has to add to the targeted soil ,based on ratio of formations of inorganic fertilizers .

its an EC sensor, and just guessing at N P K individual levels. There are no senors to measure individual nutes, there are only laboratory tests that can do that. Thats why your data from this sensor arent plausible.

the values for N P K are 255 mg what the solution for this issue on USB its shows correct reading but when try with microcontroller its not working kindly help me out

If the sensor detect this example value: N: 40 mg/kg P: 90 mg/kg K: 100 mg/kg What is the threshold of Low, Medium Low, Medium High, High, and Very High? And I ask too let say Nitrogen is Low how many amount of nitrogen need? Is the soil need 120, 100, 80, 60, 40, 30 nitrogen and so on?
