Marcos Jeffers is a 5th generation cattle rancher living in northwestern Chihuahua, Mexico. His father first started Holistic planned grazing in 1986 at the family ranch. It was practiced successfully until 2011, when Jeffers decided to separate from the family ranch and start his own cattle company. He currently has an intensive grazing program with a holistic plan behind it that started in 2016. In 7 years, he has been able to increase the carrying capacity 3.2 times by taking care of the soil through regenerative practices.
