This album deserves all the accolades everyone has given it. It truly shows just how amazing this gents are at their art. Especially David. RIP sir. My your ride into the great beyond of the universe be a majestic one. You are forever immortal.
While i Sing band such like KoRn, Trivium, or Soilwork, it happens frequently, oh and by listening Darkness within & or Descent in the shades of night by Machine Head we can add to this list ; World So Cold from Mudvayne!
Please, we must protect Bjorn at all costs. His vocals are seriously just unmatched! Also had the pleasure to meet the whole band back in 2012 in Cleveland Ohio. They were down to earth and awesome ! Can’t wait for the album
I think 90% of today's soilwork fans met them in wow I dont even think I liked music before soilwork and in flames Btw, I suggest you trying to listen to Delain
“'Nous Sommes La Guerre' lida em torno do tema “lute ou fuja”. A música é sobre as lutas internas ao confrontar seus próprios demônios. É um grito por ajuda para derrotar a escuridão dentro de você e no processo se dirigir para um caminho com um pouco mais de luz” . Essa banda me acompanha em todos os momentos da minha vida, desde que foi fundada. Muito obrigado Soilwork. Thank you, aways!
I love how you guys have really been embracing this intense and mood setting atmosphere for each track for these album. This song deserves multiple listens because there are so many little touches and notes and instruments to appreciate, all in a fantastic composition of a song. Speed vocals continue to evolve. This is why you gents have been my fav. since Natural Born Chaos. I got goosebumps listening to this. Literally listened to this 4 times in a row.
"Nous Sommes la Guerre" lyrics: Nous sommes la guerre Nous sommes le contraire Nous sommes l'opposition Nous attendons le porteur de lumière I can feel the shadows enter, risin' from the earth Now that everyone is giving me the widest berth I have nightly visits, sentient absence watchin' me Nurturin' the itch where other worlds are scratchin' me When I heard the voices from below Gently tellin' me where I should go Speakin' demon tongues in stereo Face the undetermined, let it show Let it show So could you hold my fire? Would you arise and meet me where the sparks ignite? Nothing's new It's just the fear that Something's comin' after you It's the brimstone sparkling, touching me at parts unseen Just a sharp reminder prodding at what could have been Would you share my burden, help me lay this ghost to rest? If you disagree then please pretend it's for the best Every trial that we must undergo Trapped between the current and the flow Melodies above the hellish drone Sound the unrefined and let it go So could you hold my fire? Would you arise and meet me where the sparks ignite? Nothing's new It's just the fear that Something's comin' after you Hold my fire Would you arise and meet me where the sparks ignite? Nothing's new It's just the fear that Something's comin' after you Nous sommes la guerre Nous sommes le contraire Nous sommes l'opposition Nous attendons le porteur de lumière
This is a very nice song and a cool video! It is refreshing to see videos like this that tell a story and not just three or more minutes of the band making faces and playing.
It always amazes me how Soilwork’s music seems to remain extremely relevant after all these years. Even on this album, they’ve incorporated that classic 80’s sound but it still sounds so refreshing! Huge applause from me! 🤘🏽
It boggles my mind how long Soilwork have been making music. In all that time, they have stayed true to themselves and made incredible music. I've been a fan of this band for over a decade and they just keep getting better. Please never stop releasing music 🤘 🤘 🤘
Sweden must be sweating fishes right now !!! In Flames and Soilwork with new songs in the same week ....HOLY !!! And In Flames is sounding great again like in the Come Clarity era ...
I am digging this new song, this sounds awesome!! It's maybe not metal like their past, but it's innovative and melodic and catchy...and that's all I want.
Nous sommes la guerre - We are the War. Really, the human conditions these days are very awful everywhere. Hope, we see the Light... Great work again Soilwork.
Never heard of this band, and all the videos i saw, until this moment, has super many comments like:"fan from 2005 till now..." aint that some mandela effect for me!

Soilwork always doing reinventing themselves every album. Always surprising songs, always good shit. This feels almost like something by Opeth. Soilwork deserves so much more recognition.
For those being hyper-critical of this track, Soilwork deserves credit for their incredible range. Their older, heavier albums, which were the stuff of legend, are in the past. Bands evolve, you need to embrace change.
They go back and forth. Hell, just like 1-2 albums ago, they wrote some of the fastest shit since their first album. Albums like Natural Born Chaos, while amazing....were pretty tame and very radio friendly for a band like this. This album may be kind of commercial and the next one may be insanity...thats just the way they are. They get bored of doing one thing over and over so they switch back and forth.
Yes they deserve credit, but it's just not a memorable track. There's nothing that gives me the urge to come back to it and I hear some recycled ideas. Overgiverheten on the other hand I've listened to numerous times amd keep going back.
@Styx KazikluBey SBS is almost unlistenable due to absolute garbage production. CHM was marginally better but it starts being somewhat decent around APP.
I have to say that I really like this song. Very atmospheric. I admit, it took me a while to get used to the more melodic style since i was hooked on their first 3 albums forever, but it's good.
Huge fan of both bands but sorry, this sounds nothing like Night Flight Orchestra. Its pretty amazing how Bjorn and David can have two very distinct ways approaching each project.
This band can do no wrong. Everything theyve written since Natural Born Chaos (and likely before, but I can't speak on it because I haven't heard it) has been 93 octane ⛽. Come to USA more often; Kentucky to be specific.
Love the "new" Soilwork!!! know you since around 25 years, but that´s one of the first Songs from you Guys what completely catches my Attention. Can´t wait for the full Album!!!!!!
How is there so many people that are just now discovering Soilwork? Its the same with In Flames.....like what were you doing for the last 25 years? Listening to Korn? Like how does this happen?
