Oh boy, Soilwork! This album The living Infinite is some of their best work. It’s a lot though, an epic double album. I’d argue going back and checking out some of their earlier stuff first. “As We speak” is one of my favs, and the album Natural Born Chaos is a great starting place. hey ey oh, sveeden,norway,finland make up the metalninsula (metal paninsula) - I saw them 3 times, I saw em in a small town in california (Ramona) and it was panic broadcast release. I went with my friend and a girlfriend, We chased the dragon before going in, Me buddy and I stayed awake and loved it but Lovelygirl was sitting in the chair with her head nodding near the floor. I was so embarrassed for a minute, then I laughed. The whole scene could see her goofed ass as we was at a center table. she managed to keep her bum on the chair so I give her that. As the show starts theres the usual " I Love you dirk" the ladies shout, Dirk gots the timing , the slim skinny boddy, long hair, no shirt, very humble dood too. I saw em again for Living infinite, and SW sponsored a band called Earthside, Earthside's opening song had the whole crowd mezmerized, it was good shit, i bought a cd in between sets and chatted with the lead singer lad from earthside. Bjorn does the vocals for a song on there album as well.. OKAY IM DONE!
Soilwork has a number of different sounds from different eras. I'm not a fan of the 1st 3 albums that were pretty much straight Swedish thrash metal, but a lot of people dig them. I have enjoyed everything after, especially during the Dirk Verbeuren era (before he went to be Megadeth's drummer).🤘
