When Kirstie sang the chorus I literally got chills and I'm pretty sure i replayed that part at least 5 times. Plus, the Mitch and Kirstie duet was amazing!!

Looking at the comments below is probably why PTX rarely collabs with anyone. If you don't have anything nice to say and it's not constructive criticism, keep it to yourselves. I think this is really cool and came out well, you can tell they worked hard on this.

Well said. I really like it. It must be soul-destroying for anyone other than PTX who worked on this lovely collaboration to come on here and read the comments. Just because you love a band; it doesn't have to be to the denigration and exclusion of all else... *sigh* It's easy to see where the term fan came from - fanatic. Sometimes lacking the ability to think clearly! I love PTX, and I keep coming back and listening to this, and not just because of them...

What people need to understand is the other people in the video were good, but pentatonix has been singing for years, Mitch and Scott particularly grew up as children with music, they know so much and have practically perfected their abilities to blend and everything necessary to be the best they can be, let's not forget the impossible breathe support they have

You come here looking for Pentatonix and discover _so much more_! The sheer power of these voices is astounding. While PTX's is an integral part of this incredible collaboration, especially with Avi's koomaii singing and Mitch's spine chilling lead solo, this would still be a killer track without them, but _I'm so glad_ they added their skills to it. ITunes here I come.

Well, I really enjoyed this. Particularly some of the more percussive, electronic notes by background singers, not shown on screen. PTX superb, as always, enjoyed the guy who started 1/2 way through. Loved all the layering. Listen w headphones. Cool :o)

As a ptx fan I think its fair to say that ptx fans are super annoying... Ptx did not "make" this song. It would've been a good arrangement without them. The fact that they were in it just enhances it. "Mitch could've done this!!" "Kirstie could've done that!" "That chicks voice sucks!" Okay, and? That's why they're FEATURED. Its not Pentatonix Featuring SoJam.... Stahp pls

PTX's Avi hitting a low C# forever (even if edited he still had to hit it) then doing his multiple tone thing = most talented in the entire video. Many people can sing like the others, but very few can do what Avi can do. That is my definition of talent.

Some points of production could have been tighter. I felt like Mitch sounded "different" from the other recordings. But I did love this, so no real complaints here. Avi's overtones at the beginning were on point, great addition.

this is one of the videos that I show to people who hates Kirstie and want her to be replaced, what an role important Kirstie plays in Pentatonix. The way she supported Mitch's part and blends with Scott's voice is one that is very difficult to replicate by most singers. Amazing that Kirstie can modulate the color of her voice (musical theater training?) to fit her bandmates. That and the lack of ego. I love her even more now. :)

iris aucherii I agree! Kirstie was so, so great here. I wish she could have gotten a little more time in this song. I believe she's an alto, so we're meant to blend or support most of the time. (Tho, she's got a crazy range.) But lord does she kill her solo's.

I am seriously trying to understand something here. I am a Pentaholic from 2011 and I have seen many comments shaming people who do not like a particular song or arrangement. They get very upset. However, looking at some of the comments here, I have to say many of you should be ashamed of yourselves. The very thing you get upset about you turn around and do the exact same thing. This is not a Mitch song, nor a Pentatonix song. Why can't we just enjoy it for what it is???

This is a great song! And a fantastic cover. It's so nice to hear this much depth!! Problem though, they arranged it backwards. The first verse built up, the second verse really blew the roof off and then the end of it got really calm and peaceful. I really think it should have been the other way around and finished with the chorus feat. pentatonix because that really is the peak energy of the song. Was frustrating, but still great. :D
