I really love my dad as he is, but I'd also be very happy with someone like sojiro as my father/father figure... sadly there aren't many people like him running around I guess. Or maybe its just that some famous politician needs to blame me for something he did so I have to move to Japan... also reminds me of the story in "the Fast and the Furious: tokyo drift"
@@Supergamer-hu5mp I still love my dad, too. The only problem is that I don't like him, if that makes sense. He only contacts me and visits when he finds it convenient or when he's in town.
I remember somebody commenting in another comment section: "Sojiro doesn't get mad when he finds out you were dating multiple girls because he is reminded of himself, a true pimp," or something like that.
One of the best supporting characters in games i ever had a chance to interact with. I literally cried when i had to say goodbye to him and cried again - this time from happiness - when i saw him again in Strikers. I wish i could visit Le Blanc and try out his coffee and curry.
I think we are all failing to realize that Sojiro is so fucking bad ass that you can actually cut in line in reservations, probably at more then one restaurant, and they APOLOGIZE for making you wait after mentioning your a friend of his. Just imagine if Joker said he was his son-
The curry from Atlus's recipe is surprisingly good. Very addicting with all those chocolate and coffee flavors. Really wakes you up. No wonder Joker can run around all day while killing gods as a part time job
My dad’s been gone a few years too now. Although he’s nothing like Sojiro and has made many mistakes, I still loved him and I wish I could’ve asked to take him to therapy while he was alive. I’ve been watching RTGame’s P5R playthrough and he makes me feel so warm with his fatherly role.
Although mine is still visiting in a regular basis but still, him having a job that basically makes him appear for two days after being gone for one or two weeks it sometimes gets tough, there have been some years where he misses mine, my brothers and my mother's birthday.
Sojiro is definitely one of the best adult character of the Persona series. He may seem very strict at first, but you quickly learn that he has a good heart. His love for Futaba is also very admirable too. He also just has an extremely cool personality.
No dislikes, thats the power of Sojiro the godkiller... I can only imagine the strengh of sojiros persona, I always theorised that his persona is just too op for the shadows to handle, anyways, no dislikes yet, and a great vid, keep it up :)
Sojiro is slightly better than Dojima to me, which is a fantastic compliment to Sojiro, since Dojima is actually blood related family. Maybe it’s because of more involvement in the story, or because he opens up more in the main story, not just his confidant. Eitherway, both great dads.
I think out all of the adults in the series, I would say Sojiro has to be one of the best and my favorite hierophant. He would anything for his family. Dojima is a close second.
Often times I wished that some politician blames me of a crime I didn't commit and then I get send to Tokyo to live with someone like Sojiro, and make lots of friends... maybe even find a cat I can talk to, that desperately tries to convince everyone that he's a human and thus wants to date a human girl, but never succeeds
My head canon is that he was a wild card too when he was young. That's why he sees his younger self in Joker. Plus it is fitting for the god killer comment wich i think he just saduced a godess and saved the world. Sorry for bad english not my first lenguege
Honestly, after playing and fully going through his confidant, I really wanna be a dad like Sojiro. He is chill, but also wise, firm handed when needed, and just all around a good guy. Plus hella clout is always a bonus
Sojiro is pimp material. White suit, has in-roads to everywhere, espouses nigh-perfect dating advice, enough confidence to smother the Twins, and casually insinuates that he's had to spin webs of lies to a group of women before...
“Uh, Dorsia, yes?” “Yes, can you take 2 tonight, oh at let’s say, 9 o’clock?” “We’re totally booked.” “Really? That’s great. Sojiro Sakura recommended you.” Let’s see Paul Allen’s white day reservation.
It's raining outside as you load up Persona 5. Beneath the Mask starts playing as Joker walks into LeBlanc with Morgana's head peeking out of his bag, and you hear the soothing voice of Jamieson Price welcoming you with a simple "Ah, you're back." That is the Bean Daddy Sojiro Sakura we all grew to appreciate.
I would be so lucky as to have some father figure in my life as Sojiro Sakura. I hope that I become a man like him in my old age, but a man like Dojima in my younger adult years.
