+MEMYSELF ANDI Thank you! You would love it now that it is done!! That is our house. I had no idea they put it on youtube!! It has come along way since this video was taken. We have insulated the walls/ceiling which has helped drastically to keep the heat in. Full kitchen and bathroom are now up and running, washer as well. Completely functioning house, just round. It has definitely been a work in progress. My husband is a woodworker so that definitely helped to keep the costs way down.It has 6 skylights in the ceiling now, the rooms in the back are seperated by a wall now.
Foor plan is nice. Love all the natural light it lets in. It's comfy looking but everyone inside is bundled up even though the wood-burning fire is going. Can't be that well insulated if everyone is wearing parkas inside. Looks like the roof is the culprit for heat loss.
big screen tv but no toliet? In the middle of a storm I don't want to go outside.and washing machine is pretty important I could suck it up about the dryer with wood heat
+suzan stacy The key to keeping it warm was insulating the ceiling which we did. Most people that visit in the cold months have to take off most of their layers when they come in. It cranks up to 90 at times!! At the time this video was taken the insulation hadn't been done.
