Sokolov - the only pianist who can play Rameau on the piano and still make it sound so convincing. Amazing amazing amazing! I'm in awe...

Sokolov's trill in baroque music is always a pleasure to hear, only he produces trills at that high speed with such clarity and attack and evenness, no pianists that I heard of are capable of that kind of crispy trills that he produces, and I'm sure he's aware of his uniquness in this part probably because he's put a lot of efforts in achieving that kind of pureness in tone and artistry

Grigory Sokolov non è solo il più grande pianista vivente ma si pone al livello dei maggiori di sempre (horowitz, yudina, richter, gould ...). Assistere ad un suo concerto è un'esperienza unica ed assolutamente coinvolgente ed entusiasmente. Per quanto il brano da lui interpretato possa essere noto, ogni nota della sua interpretazione è una sorpresa. Sublime.

Magistral Sokolov en obras de epocas y estilos contrastantes ( Rameau - Beethoven,Brahms) en los que puede imaginarse un hilo conductor. Maravilloso trabajo tecnico e interpretativo de un musico genial. Y hablando de sus encores, su Nocturno de Chopin es eso SU nocturno. Una maravilla.
