In this webinar, Sol-Ark discusses their newest family of inverters - the M-1000 and M-2000 microinverters. I'm a little confused about your claim of 9000w input using ac coupled micros. My Sol-Ark 12K manual states a maximum combined input with ac coupling to the 12K is (at best) 14kW total. But you're claiming up to 18kW total with your ac coupled micros. Does this additional 9000w ac coupling only apply to the Sol-Ark 12K as long as one is using your micros?

Can you show us what the monitoring will look like and I hope it’s per panel data. Could there be an API interface to forward data to third party apps. Looks like a hit!

can you combine say 2 M-2000 and 1 M-1000 do make two strings of 10 panels? this would be with a Sol Ark 12k system and a few server rack style LFP batteries

I’m sending / selling power back to grid and I want to AC couple in the the gen/AC couple input on the Sol-Arc 12K. I have 8kw of panels DC now and a good sized battery bank. If I add another 4k of AC coupled will that power flow through to sell back to the grid just like (in addition to) my DC coupled that I already have today?

Zero export is becoming VERY important with net metering going away here. Definitely looking for more options.

The $0.31 $/w is calculated based on the max capacity of the micro inverter, 2,000 watts, not the actual capacity of the panels used in your example which are 440wx4=1,760 != 2,000 1,842÷(440×12) = 0.35 you still win, just with a more honest number

You mention that the Sol-Ark hybrid inverter WILL do frequency shift based throttling per UL 1741-SA yet the manual ( 15K ) does not describe where / how this will happen , what tap (load/grid/gen) ?? It looks like there is no way to support zero meter home use if you have ac-coupled ? Why if you have the logic to throttle ?

for the power companies that give you lower rates to sell power back to the grid and I have batteries and want all solar power that you are not using in your home to go to those batteries and not the grid.. I think. not totally sure

So if I'm reading the chart (starting at 6:00 ) correctly, using the M-2000 you could have a dozen 500W panels connected to 3 of the micro-inverters (4 each) sending a theoretical 6kW down that branch. 🙂 I used your calculators recently (Before the Sol-Ark 15k was announced) and came up with an off-grid/hybrid system that would basically duplicate our 100A 240VAC service with a 3 day battery backup. Came up with a total north of $50k 😵 Batteries of course are really the biggest individual part of that (8x Kong packs from BigBattery)
