It kinda already is. Sol's neck pain most likely comes from when he was a scientist and had to have his head lowered in order to read and write research papers. And if you wanna get a little bit more insane about it, he still has neck pains because the gear cells in him kept this "trait" when he became the prototype gear and now it'll never go away

cursed with eternal neck pain, out of all sol has gone through, that is for sure the worst

He sleeps out in wastelands. Neck pain is just inevitable.
