The funny thing is James, ETFs are bought off market therefore don’t truly affect market prices until supply and demand is recognised. Isn’t that correct? Market makers don’t want the price influenced by ETFs

I'm confused by the space that Firedancer is supposed to occupy in the network. It's marketed as a vastly more performant validator client, but also as a contribution to client diversity, and therefore decentralisation and network security. But I don't see how the network would function if composed of the old non-performant client alongside the new firedancer client. Won't everyone upgrade to firedancer, and so there won't be client diversity? Surely all clients on the network have to be capable of processing the same number of transactions?

But you recently downplayed the ETH ETF since it wouldn't be as significant as the BTC ETFs, so why care about the idea of a SOL ETF since that'll be similarly less significant than the BTC ETFs?

i was glad to hear this news as someone who hold eth and sol but i dont buy that sol is more decentralized its harder to run a node or validator where as u can run one as a group on eth i think aslong as all of u have 32 eth and i believe the company making firedancer for them is being investigated as are they by the cftc. either way i hope we get etfs for anything useful and decent in crypto

Guys, the higher the price of the token, the higher the fees. When ETH was 10 dollars, the fees were negligible, at 1000 it became a nightmare. The same goes for all layer 1 blockchains, the higher the price of the token, the more expensive it becomes for the average user. While everyone in Crypto wants the pump, extreme price increases in the token price also means the fees become more expensive. Which then makes them less suitable for mass adoption
