SOL Voices: Ep.89 - "Experience... Today" 

I just do not think it's CIG's fault if newer players do not know what "Alpha" means in terms of a playable game in development now. However, I will agree that maybe a brief description of what alpha means at the bottom of the beginning of a patch trailer may go a long way to making it absolutely clear what Star Citizen is at this point in development. I am in favor of "Playtest Now!" as an alternative to the above though. Togi hit it deadeye. There's a reason we do not eat raw eggs. Star Citizen is and has been a game in the making. So, it is understandable how players get confused about words like "playable" that are regularly used to peak the curiosity of newer backers. Particularly when it is as Griff said. Those players obviously knowingly or unknowingly fail to acknowledge the fact that "playing" an Alpha may simply not be to their taste. And they would be better off waiting until the chef has added more seasoning and the flavor is far more final in its intended taste.

While ISC and SCL exist you're talking hundreds of hours of content. That's asking a lot of new players without some kind of table of contents to help them find which episode to look for.
