Finally got a chance to record a little jam with the new Solar 42F from ELTA music. I agree with other creators who have said that this device yearns for reverb and while it does come with some excellent reverb cartridges I feel that using outboard reverb allows me to dive into the stranger FX carts.
Here I'm using the new Ochre cart, with outboard fx from the Empress Reverb and Echosystem. All is running into the PLAYdifferently Model 1 and then througth the Elektron Analog Heat+FX just for a little clean boost. Some post-processing in the video but just enough to make it work on the platforms. (headphones are still recommended)
This thing is a dream device and I'm so glad I took a chance on it.
