I complained to the General Manager there about the 10-15 longes around the pool , with fastened towels in them ….they sat empty for at least 5 hours ‼️

In the tourism industry, its called "Low Season" that you are experiencing in Cuba... Much better prices as you (Ken) found to go... I most likely would've done the same thing depending on the rain/hurricane season

Even in Montreal which the sun was covered at close to 60 percent. You could not even see a difference.

Ken - I loved the segment where you are talking about upload speeds and the "possible connection to the solar eclipse". Hahaha. Really now. But, in my estimation there will ALWAYS be slower shared WiFi at a busy resort during the day - - when EVERYONE is using it to one degree or another.

If you get a chance you should go see a total solar eclipse. The partial eclipse pales in comparison to total. The eclipse from Monday was amazing. I went to Missouri to see it. As an amateur astronomer this was the most amazing celestial event I saw. The next one in North America is 2024.
