I live in Idaho, and I can confirm this. I looked directly into the sun during the climax of the solar eclipse. The eclipsed sun is permanently scorched into my vision and when I watched the video, I compared the now constant image of the sun in my eyes to the video and it lined up perfectly.

As a person who doesn’t live in the USA, this video was very helpful
