Mirror's Edge Catalyst is far and away his best album.

I STRONGLY recommend you to listen Mirror's Edge Catalyst soundtrack. It's really good. My favorite album from 2016. I didn't know about Solar Fields until the MEC soundtrack, so I'm not familiar with all his work. I will check out the songs you named here. BUT you have to listen Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

This sounds really interesting, after hearing about the post-rock and new age elements that only fascinates me more. I will check this out!

Thanks bro appreciate the history. I got into Movements in a big way a few years ago but hadn’t ventured elsewhere. I think Ourdom is fantastic on first listen.

The 'Ourdom' CD has just arrived to me today, can't wait to listen to it :) I didn't feel like he released a real album after 6 looong years, because the two 'Origin' albums were really unique, it's totally new material for us, and I LOVE them, specially the second one! And Unite from Origin #01 is sooo awesome... I recommend to listen to both 'Origin' albums if you haven't already, it's a MUST! I put them actually very close to the genious 'Movements' on my list.

Bro I know it's a long album but it's so worth it listening to Catalyst, even if you never have interest in the game. It's one of his best works honestly but it does drag because it was made for a game. My suggestion would be to break it apart into 3 parts or something like that because it really is worth it if you like his music. I would actually suggest listening to the first ME soundtrack and then Catalyst but that's a bit much I think. The problem with the first soundtrack I feel is that it doesn't sound as clean in comparison which makes sense given they're about 7 years apart. That being said, it's still a great soundtrack worth listening to.

Mountain King & Moving Lines are IMO the best on this album, they sound like they could've been on the Mirror's Edge 1 soundtrack, which itself felt like a best-of of all the styles he expressed from Blue Moon Station up until then. "Reflective Frequencies" is still up there with my favs, and I personally don't really like Movements up until RGB anywhere near as much. To me, Ourdom is the first """real""" album since. The weak parts of his career aren't bad, or even weak per se, it's just that everything else was so exceptional

Thanks for reminding me that I need to get properly into Solar Fields, I've only really listened to the first Mirrors Edge soundtrack and Movements... Oh, and I can't really say too much Against New Age music (even if most of it is just lame) because I honestly enjoy Enigma's third album. x)

Leaving Home is the only album I really like by this guy; the trance album he made and some of his other stuff is good but didn't leave too much of an impression, nevertheless it's good to listen to while doing something. This sounds like a change of pace but idk doesn't really click for me.

Could you please do a review of Asuras latest album Atmosphere and they have had some amazing back catalogue such as Radio Universe and 360. Plus my favourite of them all life2. Didn’t care much for lost Eden but there music is worthy of a review from you. I have some other albums by solar fields and was not going to buy there latest album till your review and looking forward to listening to it. Keep up the good work, you do some really good reviews👍
