1. Improve your soldering technique by applying the solder and iron to the work simultaneously. Never carry the solder to the work on the hot iron, the flux evaporates quickly and can cause a cold joint. 2. The masking tape will dry out and release the cells to rattle around inside the pack and possibly break the connections; use hot glue to secure the cells to each other. 3. Add a 3 amp fuse inline on the positive battery lead; safety first.

is that a fuse for each cell? The mini glass fuses are only 6 bucks for 200 of them. I put mine together and now I'm wondering about fusing. these come with no instructions of coarse. In parallel , a bad cell would keep getting charged. I've taken the battery out till I rethink this. What size fuse is needed if I wish to fuse each cell?

@@immrnoidall I don't think it's necessary to fuse each cell. The Current Interrupt Device in each cell prevents thermal runaway by electrically isolating the cell upon internal pressure increase. An auxillary glass fuse is meant to protect the control chip. Most semiconductors fail short, and could burn the board. Since these power banks can only deliver about 1.5 amps, a 3 A fuse should be adequate. To install a fuse in line, sand both ends lightly, apply flux, then pre tin the ends with solder before attaching the wires. I always sheath my fuses with shrink tubes to insulate them.

Does your powerbank charging via solar power, i has the same model as yours but it didn't charged..it has only one blue light when i try to charge it via solar power... I don't know if it is charging or not!

Seria melhor que a placa solar fosse separa com 1 metrô de fio, quando quisesse recarregar o Power Bank era só conectar a placa solar, e assim não deixaria o Power Bank no sol.
