Good review, useful comparisons and show of the qualities. I wonder what the cons of the solar light was over time? Did it start to get dimmer or lesser working hours?
Good choice, excellent lights free electricity I used here in California. Installed same six pole lights/same remote but different brand - 2 in front and 3 in backyard and driveway. Also had the other where I mounted the solar panel outside roof and the light inside the family room which is on when everyone is home. All this I bought in Raon St/Quiapo years back while visiting Metro Manila/Pampanga. For light poles I used tubes size, cut and bend at a local muffler shop
Hi there, I am going to install solar light for my Basketball outdoor court. Which one do you think is better? Street light or flood light? Need your recommendation. Thanks
We tried testing out solar lights for basketball court too. We tried 200 watts and 300 watts solar flood lights but the luminance and area coverage is not that good compared to AC Powered Flood Lights... You need more units to light up the court properly. But between street light and flood light, I would recommend flood lights...
sir good day, nice video.... what if my roof is nasa 4th floor and i want ground floor the light unit, is it possible to replace the wire. (assuming short cable leght) if i may ask how long is the cable... thanks
Thank you! Conscisely explained. I have a question sir, I am planning to set up a small homestead off-grid and raise chickens. Is it possible to hook up an 50W incandescent light bulb in the battery of the solar lights? Which would you recommend to provide 24hr power, 100W or 200W? Thank you po.
Have not done that because the units were already installed after I made this video. But they're still operating from sundown to sun up until now for around 8 months already.
@@TheDimpledEngineerandmyDogs thanks for the reply. So you get light from sundown till sunrise on full brightness? How would you compare to a 100w traditional powered light? Subscribed!
Yup, full brightness from sundown to sunrise. Traditional or AC powered lights are still brighter, for me the performance of AC powered is about 40% to 50% brighter than solar powered. Thanks for subscribing by the way 🙂
Couldn't agree more sir. Tama po kayo. Since ganito ang klima sa atin, dapat talaga take advantage na tayo by going solar. Nakatipid kana, nakatulong ka pa sa environment 👍
Sir is there an option mode for either 120 streetlight or 100W flood lights wherein I only need them during night time up to sun up without needing to press any switch or button? Is there such mode that it will automatically works independently for the whole night?
Yes sir... There's a built in light sensor / automatic mode where in the floodlight / streetlight will automatically turn on once it senses that there's no sunlight and will turn off once it senses sunlight and will charge the built in batteries.
hello sir. ganda ng review nyo. how are the solar flood lights now? kamusta ang battery life? 10 to 12 hours padin ba? balak ko sana bilhin eto and at the very least these floodlight would last for atleast 3 years. sulit na bayad na yun
Hi there. Thanks for the compliment... After almost 1 and a half years, the 2 solar lights are still doing okay. Still automatically turn on when its already dark and turning off in the morning when it senses sunlight. I still wasn't able to actually time its operating hours because of laziness, hehehe. I can say that its really sulit and worth the purchase.
Good day sir, ask ko lang po kung kamusta na mga solar lights nyo ngaun? Same performance prin po ba? Thanks in advance
Lacking tipid sa electricity bill at the same time good for our planet. Gamit ko ay 25w lang para sa front and back door namin.
@@TheDimpledEngineerandmyDogs which one is better? The 100 watts floodlight or the 120 watts street lamp? I'm currenty using Bosca 40w flood light, so far so good. I've been using it since December of last year.
@@TheDimpledEngineerandmyDogs thanks for the immediate reply. Looks like i'm buying the 200watts bosca flood light, just P600+ pricier than the 100watts
Malakas ba to lods?
@@taytayjc5830 You're welcome pards. Oo legit naman yung seller sa Lazada. Timing timing lang din sa mga sale. Katulad ngayon 5.5 baka may discount ulit. Hehe
Okay, if you will insist with this discussion... Which seems a little sarcastic. Hehe And you pointing out that I am not practicing safety, correct me if I am wrong :-D When sanitizing, the main priority is the area or surface where the package or area is highly or mostly touched. So in this case the outside surface of the package that is why this is the part I sanitized before bringing it inside... As for the inside of the package, this particular package was delivered for almost 7 days. If you will do your research, Corona Virus can survive on most surfaces for around 8 hours to a maximum of around 5 or 6 days. And since this package was delivered from the date of shipment to almost 7 days, I assumed that the virus didn't survive inside the box or the surface of the box. This has been my practice when this pandemic started, even my Grab food delivery, and since its same day delivery, I sanitize with Hypochlorous acid even the food containers and drinking cups.
