Thank you! I purchased one of these around a year ago and couldn't remember how to use the flashlight. I'm trying to keep my emergency devices charged up now. With the way things are going with so much talk about WWIII, I feel a stronger urge to be prepared. Hopefully, the day will never come, but there's no point in having emergency prep items with dead batteries.

Bought one a couple months ago and loved it so much I purchased a second one and gave it to my granddaughter as a gift. We're avid campers so power banks are an absolute must have. I also like to keep these charged for when the power at home goes out which has happened a couple times this year. They are so convenient and easy to use. You can charge multiple devices at the same time. The compass is a nice added bonus. I appreciate how quickly this arrived. I am curious to see how long these take to charge in the sun.

Thank you, there is never a place you can look for a power button that you could be sure of they never make any in the same way.I especially appreciate the power banks that come with their own solar cell. Sometimes a charger is very far away.

Hello from January 21, 2023 Just bought this powerbank and I’m seeing a lot of bad comments and reviews about the solar charging I don’t mind if mine will have a problem…. just as long as I can charge it with a USB the old fashion way :)

The solar panel is just 1.5 watts. Even if you had full sun for a couple of days it will not amount to much and would probably get damaged from the heat of the sun before charging even a little! So just charge it the normal way and don't think the solar part will do anything but add to its decoration :)

These are not as handy as you think. Charged my little solar charger - FULLY (via the USB port, not the sun but I keep it on my dashboard in the car so it stays charged and I do watch the heat and all like the instructions tell you and believe me, I'm a design engineer so I am very aware of all the details) - and I have to keep unplugging and replugging devices to it to get it to stay on and charge. Have a set of headphones I left on it over night and they were not charged at all. I'm looking for info is how I stumbled across this video. Be aware these do not work like you might think they do.

Yeah but if the solar panel is 1.5watts you could have it in the window all summer and it won't fully charge. I have one that's similar only mine is 13,500mAh no compass tho.

The solar panel is more for decoration at this point lol. I have a solar system with charger and inverter so I'll just plug this in to that to charge. Basic charge bank and flashlight. I wouldn't depend on the "compass" at all, after all it is mounted on a device that you connect to a phone that will distort the magnetic field. Best to have a real compass imo.

That solar panel doesn’t really work in my opinion. The one I bought will say fully charged using the solar panel and when I plug my phone in I get nothing. The only way it works is charging it with a wall plug or to the computer

Sounds like you expect a miracle.... I couldn't figure out why mine wasn't charging my divices, it's charged but apparently you have to put the power button which isn't what most chargers do, I had to see this video

I bought one of these from eBay but a 90,000 mah 1.5watt solar panel. Sure is slow on changing . And yes main power is recommended up to 200hrs full charge it's a trickle battery. LED will turn green when fully charged. No battery memory but is recommended Evey 3 months full recharge. Not recommended for heavy duty use just a back up at night. Please do your research before buying one. Your life could depend on it. Happy camping trip and stay safe

The green model of this solar power bank requires a double tap to turn the lights on or off. At 20,000 mAh or 20 Amp Hours it can charge the power hungry phones (new smart phones) around two to three times before being depleted. With such a small solar charge it will take at least two days to recharge with good sunlight. So basicly a backup charge for the phone and a flashlight.

I have to constantly check my phone to see if it charging or not cuz it’ll stop charging after a minute I lose more power on my phone than I gain. It keeps my phone at a fixed charge and not charge it at all and it eventually dwindles down This thing is crap

In the manual it states to keep it out of excess heat or cold, water, and excess dust. I always bag my electronics in a zip lock baggie when I go camping.

Nope. 1.5 watts isn't much. It's more for maintaining the charge, otherwise it will take days if not a week to fully charge and by that time the heat will zap it. Charge via the USB port and consider the solar as a maintainer.

It's only 1.5 watt solar. Think days not hours to charge. Pretty much useless except to keep the power topped off when not in use. Power it via the Micro-USB port.

U cant really charge in direct sun. As unit will get too hot destroy battery might even explode. Solar panel does work but i recommend only solar charge indirect sunlight or under close to light bulb. Mainly to try top it up. But these are good units can usb charge. Its good in an emergency. And indirect solar top ups. I charge near my bedroom window using sunlight bouncing outside so it gets a top up charge all day. Plus not in direct sunlight it get to hot and destroy your battery in it. Just my recomendation.

The panel is only a trickle charge at around 1.5 watt so it is only for emergency. You fully charge the bank at home and use the correct usb to charge your device/phone while in the field/outside. The panel isnt designed to charge your devices, its only there to trickle charge the power bank.

The Manuel for this model says 12 to 15 hours of direct sunlight (basicly two days of sunshine). So don't think this will keep your phone powered on its own camping. At best it will give your phone 1 to 2 full charges depending how low the power is on your phone to begin with.

i I received one of these and a blind delivery without instruction manual----are now my computer big memory outboard. You can guess the functions and they on off switch has opposite the ring and hook side--- and put it in direct sunlight charged up all LED's but note the leftmost LED is just a green light and the charge indicators are illuminated blue. They supplied short charging cable has an odd up and down style plug on the it. However this item came to me, i don't know, but it has no marking, not even on the box, to identify the manufacturer other than "in China."

The reality is that is the only way to charge it to max. The solar panel is only 1.5 watts a hour. It's only good at maintaining the power when not in use. If you did try and charge solely by sunlight you are looking at days if not weeks (depending on initial charge). By that time the sun will have fried it via the heat.

With 1.5 watt solar charge it would take a very long time! Just charge it via the Micro-USB port, and consider the solar as a "maintainer" for the power bank when not in use.

If flashing only green when you put directly on the sun,and no blue (charging) light. Then your device doesn't work. I buy 2 different devices recently and both of them I returned be cuz devices didn't charge on the sun. They only flashing green.

Double tap power button to turn off or on the light. If only one LED of the light comes on (not talking about the blue power light indicator) then you need to return it or get a replacement.

My phone keeps makes the charging sound when hooked up over and over but never charges. What a waste

I bought it last when I was travelling to Nigeria, hoping the solar works good, but to my suprise is just rubbish, I only charge it with same electric light, cause the solar panel was not working, it waste of time time and energy I uses to carry it along.😢
