This is tutorial movie 2 for my game "Solar System Simulator". I'll make a series of tutorial videos for moving around, surface/ orbit views, customising celestial bodies and creating your own solar system.
Can you add landscape tool like landscape tool is like this So when you press a planet it has a landscape tool on top of the question mark button It’s logo will be like hammer and wrench You can edit the landscape using it It would be very cool to see it, thank you for reading this! Btw can you make it both the non ad and ad versions so people can enjoy it?
Hi WPC, I would like to ask for an adjustment to the customized clouds, they turn into balls instead of clouds, I would like you to make them the same as standard clouds, of course if it's not too much to ask.
Hey WPC, here is a suggestion. Can you make it so when you put on a custom texture on a planet, the game makes an elevation map realistically for that custom texture?
Hi, I see what you mean. I think it's caused by the atmospheres (looking weird from afar = probably due to floating point inaccuracies). The easiest solution would be to disable the atmospheres beyond a certain distance, I'll look into that.
When im On Computer It doesnt let me Place where i want to surface, and the only thing that lets me surface is the latitude and longitude so i suggest u make points for computer if possible. Thank you
@@DennverStelle OK, but are you using the Steam (=desktop) version? Because if you use the mobile version (for example using an emulator) on PC there can be problems. The controls are different on mobile vs. PC/Mac.
Hey, that is due to physics inaccuracy at high timescales. When you speed up time a lot, physics accuracy has to be reduced to prevent excessive lag. That will cause objects in a tight, fast orbit to be flung out. Unfortunately there is no way to prevent it besides using a supercomputer or not increasing the timescale too much.
@@wpcons5500Hey Ur Game Is Amazing two requests tho 1. Could u make stars look like actual stars I mean from far like a light year away the stars become invisible, 2. Could u make Barycenters Option in Binary Objects so a other object can orbit the two,
@@ChubbyTabbyCat Hello, 1. Do you mean looking at the stars zoomed in from the surface of a planet? Object meshes are disabled beyond a certain distance for optimisation (reducing number of draw calls). 2. If I understand it correctly you want to be able to select 2 parent bodies simultaneously in the orbit helper (=orbit their barycenter)? That can be done I think
