Nice Setup. Inspiring as I consider a solar panel trailer. Now searching for details on slider for solar panels overlap ..for store and transport mode. Thanks 🎶🌠
Interesting I am planning my unit around an enclosed tool trailer with half the PV on a tiltable roof rack, and the other half attached to one side with linear actuators to tilt it out/up. This allows all the inverter and control stuff to be inside the cargo trailer space safe and dry, trying to figure a way to safely mount the batteries between the main frame rails - low centre of gravity and out of the way - but not sure they would be safe in this area without a lot of protective steel.
You should design that with a duel solar tracking system on it. No wind turbine tower gives you plenty if space on your design for that . Cool I love your design.
@@simonsays8935 I didn't use drawer sliders I built mine out of unistrut and linear actuators its foldable electric . And has single axis tracking because I have a wind turbine tower too .
Im keen for one of these in Australia - but also want to know 1. if the top panels get damaged (,hail or rocks etc) can you still run/disconnect the under layer panels? 2. Can you use the trailer on the road without having to extend them? 3. Can you attach/in corporate water heater or water air generator/capture functions 4. Do you HAVE to have signal/ connection to app/phone to work or Can it work fully stand alone?
Yes, we typically do custom orders depending on your needs. We're working on one for a client right now that is on a enclosed cargo trailer that she will be using to live in and charge a Rivian truck. Send us an email at belan@solarrolla.com for more info and a quote.
I have 1200 watts solar on my motorbike trailer. Can fit 2 touring bikes in and they are covered. Plus I have used it for interstate furniture removal across country 3000miles. A much more useful trailer.
