Thanks for the update. I am glad Solar Titan went out of business and Solaredge stepped in! Great ending to a long awaited finish! Enjoy that sun power!
We’re thankful that the system is working as intended. Something we didn’t mention in this video is that the SolarEdge rep told us we were sold a way underpowered system for the amount of power we use. That’s mostly due to the solar regulations in Georgia. They put a 10 kW cap on residential meters. Our system is 11 kW, but it will never produce more than 10.00000 kWh. The extra couple panels that push it over 10 kW give us a little extra power at times the sun isn’t directly overhead.
I used a local company for my installation and have had no issues. The system does everything they said it would do. I'm glad I went with them instead of a larger company. Ironically the larger companies such as Power Home Solar aka Pink Energy don't serve mobile homes regardless if you own the land outright and want a ground mount system. It's only the local honest companies who do mobile homes in my area.
We talked to Pink Energy first. They were going to do a roof mounted system, but they were trying to sell us a smaller system for $10k more than the one we got.
Yes! The day to savings make it hard to justify the cost, but it saves us so much when the battery kicks in and allows us to keep our animals alive and food cold.
If your net metering credit is less than the price per kWh the utility company charges you should have a battery large enough to store all the excess power you produce so that you will never have to pull from the grid.
Solaredge does a bad job certifying people. Many times people try to get warranty in front of the provider itself , which cause financial loss to the vendor and not solaredge who manufactured the product…. I highly recommend Hundai Solar tho
@@RigginFarmI seen shady practices by some of the employees trying to not follow an RMA or returned product, and when speaking to things like solar panels is a huge financial loss. And not the big investment you might think. Solaredge give faulty products and it’s not gonna survive more than 10 years … muh s&p500 listment . This company is a fraud
@@RigginFarmthere is also a lot of patent trolling by solaredge where they patent imaginary stuff that can’t exist , and sue people when they see a similar product , it’s a crooket company … and the system you use should yield you much better reason , even considering you wasn’t in Arizona
