I have seen things about coatings and such for several years, even PV paints to create your own projects....but nothing viable....YET. The Chinese make a solar bike light you can BUY NOW for $5. -10. I've bought 10 of them Already!

Would love to jump back into investing in SolarWindows but for over 5 years didn't see value rise much above $10 per share. Usually around $2.5. Can not imagine how this company's stock isn't jumping off the charts!

So why isnt it already widely available on the market?

wonderful teck I am a power plant engineer I think any small power generation from clean resources has extra value. because in power plant you make many pollution air, temperature rising, water pollution, and also soil. I wish all of us can help

Your website technology page doesn't say what type of solar cell your using except it's 'organic'.... You need to do better than that, so what exactly is your technology???

I have been a stock holder of Solar Window for years, and even before they were solar window they were new energy (NENE) and in all that time I have been waiting for Conklin or anyone to install it on their building proving this can and will work, but all the stock has done for the last 6 months is go down. Why because what they say may be true, but stock holders want proof that they can make money selling this technology, after they prove they can actually sell this idea to someone and make money doing that for the company, people will beat a path to their door.

dont solar panels require totally direct sunlight to operate at full capacity? most windows rarely get direct sunlight right ie high rises stacked next to each other? so wont this be much less efficient than panels on a roof?

I have invested in WNDW for a share price quite a bit higher than its currently trading at. Sure seems like a great idea and I still have hopes that the company and the stock will do really well at some point. I’m a believer in Solar to a fault even given that solar efficiency has a long way to go. All that said one of my other investments was solar panels and power walls for my home. It was a bad decision given that I live on a golf course. The salesman assured me that the panels could handle a golf ball strike but that was simply a salesman saying what he needed to say to make the sale.

Why would it cost anything if it's from the sun so should only be a one time payment for installation....

Imagine if this can be modified and applied to mobile devices. That way when certain emergencies happen and you don't have a charger to charge your lowbat phone, you could use it..... Yahahahah jk

Likewise, I believe they getting traction finally.

The tech is far from plug and play. Considerations include but not limited to live wires, fire and safety concerns, new electrical infrastructure to move power, repair and replace and lastly voltage. Still too limited and costly re: power generated. But there's real hope on the horizon.

Great idea and cant wait for it to start getting rolled out. Although I will say, good luck pushing through Trump and the GIANT "dirty power", moguls. I think if you start small, affordable and with excellent customer care-services, the people will support and rise with you.

I bought some shares because the way the advertise looks like a huge winner. But now I have some doubts because it appears that its a lot of talks but no proof. Where's the beef? Show as how it actually works not big talk. If they are not going to show how it actually works many will dump there shares.

I believe that automobiles can make their own energy while driving down the road. Beneath the automobile are four tires. Why cant these tires be turned into turbines? A turbine is a device that harnesses the kinetic energy of some fluid such as water, steam, air or combustion gases and turns this into the rotational motion of the device itself. These devices are generally used in electrical generation, engines, and propulsion systems and are classified as a type of engine. Below the automobile is four wheels that are spinning a lot of the time getting the driver from point a to point b. While the tires are spinning down the road---why can't they be producing electricity and sending that electricity back into the battery that is powering the automobile in the first place. Before there were battery powered automobiles---this would not be feasible. Where would this generated electricity go? It is not like there is a place to store this much electricity in an automobile powered by gasoline. However, now that automobiles are powered by large batteries, there is a place to store this electricity to be used for more trips in the future. Just inside the tire there can be built into the tire a large copper rim that would be used instead of a steel or aluminum. In the center of the tire where the axil is is a very powerful electro magnet. This powerful electro magnet should not spin with the tire but should be stationery. Either ball bearings or some other mechanism should be used to make the electro magnet in the center of the tire not move with the tire but be stationery. So, the copper band which makes up the rim of the tire spins around the electro magnet where the axil is--producing electricity and this electricity is fed into the battery of the car by electric wires. The battery stores this electricity for future road trips. If the battery is efficient enough and the copper band and electro magnets in each four tires are powerful enough----a surplus of electricity/energy my be produced. This means that more electricity is produced than is needed to run the automobile. This surplus of energy is called the efficiency threshold. This is not a perpetual motion machine---just a surplus of energy through mechanical means. This surplus of energy could be fed back into the home/ and or electric grid when the automobile is parked. In fact, why not have a home generator based on this principle. If the automobile is suspended off the ground---and the tires rotate but don't go anywhere, but just produce electricity in surplus for the home---then the home could have almost perpetual electrical energy generated this way. This would be a basic model but soon it would be streamlined for home or business use. No more need for coal, gas, oil, or nuclear power plants to power anything. Purely clean electricity--no need for the sun or wind power. It is self sustaining and mobile form of energy that can be taken anywhere--even to outer space.

Yes . I have been an investor since 2007 . They such a good product but can't get it off the ground . I lost thousands $ waiting and waiting for the breakout. I got no explanation as to why it never took off.
