I’m not sure how it works with “red team” and “blue team” and deciding which pair gets put where. It’s probably possible to change but I’m not totally sure, just gotta get used to the skins (as long as they load xdd) and remember that BIG uses the blue ones, for example.

@@HyakuJuu01300 Why do you think nobody noticed? Team colors are based on seed, which also tells you who had first pick. Skin colors are just their orgs design and not necessarily blue or red at all.

@@Jardermorder I was thinking viewing numbers in general. The other guys are great as well - and probably better players - but Wirtual gets viewers to the game. It's just one of those things; he has a knack for it. Without Wirtual I probably wouldn't even know this game even exists and I'm sure I'm not the only one. There's a difference between being good at the game and being someone who is entertaining to watch for a large audience. But of course you are free to prefer others to watch, and if you're into TM you're bound to prefer other players/casters. I was merely talking about mainstream appeal; the fact that Wirtual has more subscribers on RU-vid than the TM site he's now casting their biggest event for.

@@berendharmsen The thing is that Wirtual's channel is _Wirtual's_ channel, not Trackmania's. While he did have TMGL 2020 on his main channel, it has grown exponentially since then and with content that's not really comparable and would risk losing subs and getting algo de-prioritized when real content gets uploaded. It _could_ be possible in Wirtual VODs, but then I don't think it's really comparable audiences either. Overall, it's Nadeo's responsibility and it's Nadeo themselves who're pushing TMGL forwards, it makes sense to have it on their hands.

@@Fay7666 I completely agree; I merely pointed out the current irony that the guy that is one half of the presentation duo (together with his housemate) has - in RU-vid terms - a vastly larger audience than the official channel of the big company that organises events on the very game that made him famous. Obviously, the way forward is to leverage him and his fame to grow their sport. Having Wirtual promote TM sports benefits them both. I was merely making the observation that for the vast majority of casual viewers who don't actually play the game (like myself) he and his style of commenting and engaging with his audience is - more than the game itself even - what gets them involved. He's made me interested enough in the game that I have in fact occasinally watched other players, especially Scrapie (and mainly because Scrapie is close to Wirtual), and although they are all superiour players of the game, they lack a certain 'something' that makes you go back to them the way you'd do with Wirtual. I'm an old guy (I'm in my fifties), and I'm frankly often astounded at how sharp and witty he can deal with almost anything that his chat throws at him; how he manages to generate a sense of community for his followers. I admit I haven't seen all of the others, but I have yet so see another TM streamer that comes close. TM rightly treats Wirtual as a kind of 'goose with the golden eggs'; he's uniquely capable of engaging viewers who are not necessarily fans of the game, and TM needs a 'narrative' to be interesting for casual viewers. Wirtual provides that. And with that, I end singing the praise of Wirtual for now - it's starting to look embarrassing and I don't want him to get funny ideas 🙂

@@Jardermorder I do not think it should have been uploaded on Wirtuals channel, but it does not matter if you agree or not lol. The vast majority watch Wirtual. Wirtual is literally the face of TM.

They won 4-0 but I think it was closer than it looked. Pac absolutely hard carried Carl, Carl looked like arguably the most inconsistent player in the lobby. I would say it's surprising to see him play this poorly but I've seen him look like the worst player in the lobby before. Hopefully he can step it up bc if not Pac is going to have to keep carrying the load for the team

Look at the names and their corresponding colors, then look at their names at the bottom along with the car color and the name color background. You’ll know who’s who, if you just take the time to do that.
