You're right ! It is no longer the same to see this category today! Johan seems unbeatable and only seeing the start of each end we know that nobody can beat him. Peter is getting old and making many mistakes and Ekstrom wants to fight but his car does not seem to.

i realy wish for the cars to be more equal again. i love this sport so much in 2015&2016. now it has a bit of a bitter flavour seeing no rotation on podiums...

Petter has his own fair shares to be fair but as far as I've watched, Ekstrom probably wins the award for racing dirty to almost anybody

Its great to have such rivalry in the sport . Both drivers get a little angry and do things the wouldnt normally do . But you will always have followers that take there drivers side . I feel that Pette is a little out of sorts because his junior team mate is blitzing everyone . Long may the rivalry continue .

I am a recent folllower of WRX and by the number of races(heats) that I have seen, Ekstrom and EKS in general are dirty. I can't believe Bakkerud has joined in too!!!

That wasnt the FIA worldRX championship. This only began a couple years ago

I know it was not a World Championship. However, same promoter, same rules, same cars, same drivers, same tracks etc. as the 2013 European Championship. It is basically a continuation, and expansion of the original ERX.

Tommi Mäkinen Racing is actually having a project to take one of the old WRC test cars to be driven in rallycross, the old spec Toyota Yaris they used for the real first tests before doing comeback but who will enter the seat is unknown yet but rumours says Mikko Hirvonen

@@christiannorwik We know that and I do work with media and news material for FIA World Rallycross Championship. As it is now it looks like the electric rallycross will be an support category just like RX2/RX Lites.

poppomatic don’t get me wrong but I don’t give a F what propels RX cars as long it’s fun to watch 😁 Needless to say RX is great for eCars because you got 4-6 laps per heat (battery😉) and on top of that as long eRX will be as good as RX we could have nice battles between (probably never happens)...

Both are skilled but Ekstrom seem rude quite often being with same team and same car for years, Peter meanwhile let's not forget he changed cars Subaru, DS3, Polo.. ( is not that easy to swap cars and still fighting on top ) but this is my opinion..

@@Elias_Andersson I think the FIA has beem in petters favour all season. Only time the audi team this year dis something worthy of a disqualify was i höljes when mattias pushed timmy out of the road. That was uncalled for, but hey. Just feel free to reply, im down for a discussion as long as its somewhat professional

@@tobbsnobb1366 aa det har du rätt i, men det i Barcelona i första kurvan mot Petter vart nog det som gjorde att det blev som det blev med domarna, det har varit i Petters favour det kan jag hålla med om. Men jag blev förbannad när jag såg att han knuffade av Petter in i däcken i finalen. Och ja, jag är inte så särskilt bra på att diskutera. Hoppas du är svensk iallafall xD ha en fortsatt trevlig kväll!

rallycross is overrated, most of tracks have no overtaking parts, it is all about the start, joker laps have been pretty much perfected, so it all about who have the better car
