This generation of Cadillacs are so beautiful! They’re my absolute favorite. Just look at that vinyl roof and the way they enclose the rear window. Oh man!!!
Big mom & pop cars are some serious cars. Older generation knew what quality was all about. Here we are in 2020 and these cars are still sought for their beautiful design. 😎✌️
Man, that is one gorgeous car!! One of my favorite Caddy's from the late 80s, early 90s. I would buy that in a heartbeat if I could. Whomever does purchase it, I hope they take great care of it 👍✌
Oh Anthony, this one makes my heart sing....it’s so near perfect, so elegant, so fresh and proud! The color, oh! A true beauty! Oh, if I had the room & the cash...but I can dream, can’t I? Hope she finds a caring new home.❤️
No they don't. I don't even like new Cadillac's, and they used to be my favorite cars on the road. But, seems like all the car companies insist on making their cars look the same so it's hard to even distinguish one from another.
I’m watching the video for the fifth time now. Honestly Anthony, this has got to be the nicest DeElegance I’ve EVER seen! Just look at that amazing paint job. Beautiful Beautiful BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love this type of car, I drive a pretty cherry 93 lincoln continental, 90000 original miles. These cars are going to go up in value in the near future.
The proportions of the 1980-1993 B- and D- bodies were simply sublime. All the grace and character of the sedans that preceded them without the obscene bulk of the '70s, in a more user-friendly size. These were perfect executive sedans and family cars for the better off. I so miss them. Same with the boxy Panthers through 1991.
Just remarkable that these time capsules are out there. Hats off to all of the previous owners that took extraordinary care of this car! It truly represents a period of time when American luxury was understood. Nowadays they're too busy chasing the Europeans and failing in the process. Nothing in the world like a '90-'92 5.7 Brougham! This car still has road presence.
I’ll always have a soft spot for these big B and D body rear drive GM cars. They just felt so “substantial” when you rode in them. Smooth, big and plush. Those V8s of the era were choked for power but were still relatively torquey. You just don’t get that seat of the pants grunty twist feeling when you drop the pedal anymore. It’s just all a bunch of little 4 banger turbos that whine and buzz while giving you “adequate” performance. Yes maybe they are quicker and give you better gas mileage, but it’s just not the same.
I can just imagine how rewarding you feel selling these beautiful cars Anthony. Thing is, I would cry when she pulled away. P.S. Tiger Paw. Thanks for letting us know!! They look perfect!
damn. that is Spec. Tac. U. Lar. just wow. That interior is out of this world. Having driven both back in the day, the prior gen Cad's were impressive in size and engine performance, but this gen is a far superior road car and better assembly quality...I was SO disappointed with the downsized C bodies for 1977...until I drove them. Anyone would be proud to own this beautiful maple-hued luxmobile.
Lovely car, this is my 2nd favorite color combo for these 90-92 cars. I had a 1991, D'Elegance like this car but Black Sapphire Metallic, navy top, navy leather. That color was a VERY DARK navy blue with a good bit of metal flake in it. Most of the time it looked black, but it was kind of one of those color shifting/flop sort of things, in some lights it was black, others you could see the dark navy blue.
@@specialtymotorcars NICE!!!!! Yeah I had that car for a daily driver for like 5 years in the late 00's. Loved all the attention, turns out to be the most reliable car I ever owned as well(this coming from somebody who's owned 4 Toyota pickups as well)
Anthony has built his business the right way. Great presentation, honest and detailed description. Unlike so many other classics dealers he points out the flaws - so many other classics dealers over describe their cars to make them sound better than they really are.
Any Old School Car Guy Or Gal would rather do a Road Trip in one of These Vs Any New Cadillac OuT There On Nostalgia Alone They were called Boats Cuz They would literally floaT down the road & Get GreaT gas Mileage as well just aim that Hood Ornament on which ever side of Double Yellow your supposed to be on & Start the Conversation to me it was as convertible as sitting in someone’s living room / Great Room Once Again Cadillac A Symbol Of Excellence Great job on Video Ant 🇮🇹🇺🇸❤️ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Really Sharp Anthony! This color has been my FAVORITE on large cars with lots of Chrome. In 1981 I bought a new Bonneville Brougham Coupe with thick Padded Landau same colors and color keys Large Biscuit Velour interior that was so striking. GM had lots of little Gotcha Sales Tricks and one was they had a Spray on Shiny Sparkle on the seats and door panels that were treated at the factory but wore off after a few months of use. When I question the dealership I was told that was a spray to catch your attention to help sell the car. I not happy. This Caddy is a Prime example of the Wow Factor coming up your street.
What an amazing automobile masterpiece! Funny that my '90 Brougham d' Elegance 5.7V8 was originally out of PA as well. Between PA and WA the vinyl top has held up very well. My car has 100k miles more than this beautiful example! Even with over 170k miles my Brougham is a pleasure to drive! I parked next to a '14-19 style Escalade ESV (Suburban) the other day, and they are almost the exact same length! I love these Cadillacs! I'm thankful my leather seats have held up very nicely as well. My car isn't a cream puff, but Big Momma is still getting compliments!
Wow Anthony such a outstanding unit this. Such a elegant color in and and out! Got to be one of the finest Cadillac units you have had here. Cadillacs today sure aren't like this. I love the elegant ride along as well Anthony. Such a time piece and piece of automotive history this is. I know if this was mine it would be dry days and elegant places for this time piece unit. A outstanding detail job Anthony and as always so anxious to see what you always have next for us to enjoy!
I can not believe it...now I am not as knowledgeable but it sure looks like what I remember of the body of my grandpa's last one which was this Brougham D'Elegance and he always said it in a funny way to me...It was pale yellow and had velour olive green interior and it was a 1980...he had only had it 6 months when he passed...he only let himself have a Cadillac when retired. He had nice Buicks when working...when I was alive...I truly love what you find and do..OMG..this is just wonderful...saw it when you posted before cleaning up I think...thank YOU. I do not remember the silver part on the bottom...He had one this color appx and my grandma had a Buick in a Burgandy...Driving and pretending I am 20....and he is here...thanks....your drives are wonderful...all the little noises...so much comes back...i don't think he ever had leather...but I remember those seats and the room...gigantic...and gong somewhere with them and mom and a sister and all of our bags fitting...3 in the back..plenty of room...
Wow, another excellent find, Anthony! I love this generation of Cadillac sedans. This one is a real time capsule. Some Cadillac fan will be lucky to own this.
I was born in 1991 I would Love to buy myself the year I am from a 1991 Cadillac and bump some 90s music they came out that exact same year I was born.
I think these cars were bumping Lawrence Welk back in 1991, judging by the people who first bought them lol Its kind of funny though how these cars 5, 10, 15 years later became real popular in the low-rider and hip-hop scene, think late 90's/00's, I know Outkast had a few of these in their videos.
NOTHING pimps like those white wall tyres. I used to have a 1984 Olds Regency 98 with 307 engine. This car supposed to have had the same engine for certain years. Nothing like it, incredible traction and never skidded in icy weather.
The car I've been patiently waiting for. 🙂👍 I like this color actually when I've liked black on black but this would be a better color for these Cadillac's. Yes I do want one eventually is why I've subscribed months ago plus enjoy the videos.
Absolutely beautiful masterpiece built by Cadillac. 100% pure American. Back when GM knew the real meaning of quality and craftsmanship. Sadly this car will never be allowed to be replicated today as it would never meet the basterd government standards due to no airbags and other safety features. Still, to this day, these big body Cadillac's are collectable and sought after as they were the last ones produced and will never be made again;(
Surprised this has not sold in the first 24 hours like the Broughams have all year on your channel. I hope to buy one in the Spring of 2021. I tried to buy a couple earlier this year, but they were GONE before I called!
I'd rather spend 14grand for a car like this then pay 40grand for the junk they make nowadays. Only bad thing about cadillac is that when needs repairs, expensive. Beautiful car!
Gotta say Anthony, from the magnificent V-16 of 1930 to the 500 cid Eldorado V8 of 1970 - it was difficult for me personally to see Cadillac humbled with "off-the-shelf" engine sharing demanded by GM corporate to save money. People pay Cadillac money to get Cadillac engineering. Otherwise, just stop by your local Chevrolet dealer .
Back when you could tell it was a Cadillac from a distance down the road. The only modern Cadillac that looks like a Cadillac is the new Escalade since they have the big taillights in the rear. The thing that sets the new 2021 Escalade apart from this 1991 Cadillac is, with all the lastest high tech cameras, touchscreens in the front and rear seats, and packed with so much high technology in the new Escalade, i can almost predict with certainty the new Escalade will not be on the road 30 years from today as this 1991 runs like clockwork today. People's taste for luxury have really changed in 30 years. From a mechanical standpoint, this 1991 will keep going and going like an Energizer battery as you didn't need a masters degree in computer science to work on this,, while the new Escalade might be scrapped out in 10 to maybe at most 15 yrs .
Did they make these in 2 doors?? My GRAMPA had a 2door late 80s early 90s cadi in Brooklyn ((remember the guido days in Bensonhurst)) all I remember is him always saying was this is top cadi d’elegance but was a 2door and had a spare tire kit on back and a gold grille and more gold on it then MR t!!! We’d ride to sheepshead bay every weekend in that yacht
please do not take this the wrong way as i like your videos and the cars. i am sure it is just me but please let up just a little with " it show's well " or " it is wrapped" try it looks great and these are the tires. ** i am not even sure if this video has this or not ? just from watching prior videos ? like i said maybe just me ??
That's in the wrapper last of the Mohicans V8 rear wheel drive 5.7 L one of the best Cadillacs in that year model it was far more reliable than the Lincoln counterpart
Definitely a beautiful car! But it's too bad that the exhaust was modified to be noisier. Definitely much louder than it should be. I'd personally change it back to OEM for the quiet ride that I associate with these cars.
Only things missing are sunroof, CD Player/door speakers and the towing package! Strangely enough, in this color, I prefer the velour interior (De Elegance version of course!)
