Looks a lot like the last version of the Ford Thunderbird to me... especially from the rear. I liked the original mgb’s from the early 70’s especially the mgb/gt (I had one back in the day)...
Only 92 out of 1982 cars made were LHD. Those were sold on the European continent. 1583 went to Japan & 307 stayed in the UK. The car was a complete sales flop until they went on offer in Japan. They came away from the Japanese auto show with 1400 firm orders. It's a shame they were never on offer in the USA. It would have passed emissions but failed the crash test horribly. Only now with the 25-year rule can we begin to buy them. (At 25-years old non-complying cars are allowed in.)
Who built it. The last MGB was made in 1982. Is this a replica ?? How come it is a roadster with a V8 when MG refused to put V8s in roadsters because of the toque effect on the chassis.
@Fred Smith We have an original 1976 MGB V8. Never had head gasket issues, but cooling is an issue. Improved a lot by fitting a radtec race radiator made in Cannock. Also did things like make some new brackets to lift the number place in front of the bumper, instead of it hanging low blocking the air intake. (Added a mashgrill to stop the stones hitting the oil cooler BTW) We haven't but if your ever gonna have a full respray, spend the money and get a louvered bonnet too. Worth it.
Yes..very nice..but why are u advertising cars that have already sold??..u do it in the magazines also, half or more of your stock is sold..always..makes no sense.
Thank you for your comments, we leave the videos of our Sold vehicles on RU-vid becasue people enjoy viewing them for pleasure and interest. In addition they can be used as a reference for people who are looking to buy a certain model for things they should be looking for etc and so they can see what we could source for them and hopefully contact us to help them. In the magazines, we often have to book the advertising quite a while in advance and so things change before we come to print. Also, once again it shows potential customers the cars we stock and then they can approach us to source one similar for them. Also people who have a car to sell often look to see what price/standard they should be looking for in the market and our videos/adverts can be useful to them or they approach us which is great as we are always looking out for stock. Hope that helps to answer your question.
@@WoldsideClassicandSportsCar thank u for a very detailed response..I appreciate the time taken to explain this as it's always bugged me why u do it..now I know..& now it makes sense..by the way 1 day I will have enough money saved to buy something from u as for many years now I've noticed u have some of the nicest conditioned cars I've ever seen..so,maybe 1 day I'll he there in person.
